I know this site as ancient anti-hollywood agenda but c'mon. The reason for all the muscle and the lack of access is simple. Disney doesnt want others copying their ideas. Can you imagine the embarrasment if say a spy from another studio gets into this event with a fake all areas pass(okayed by other studio, but denied by said studio) and walks way with ideas on paper that are disneys but this spy knows his bosses would love. Disney cant afford to have that happen and indeed neither can studio afford have there ideas blabbed all over the internet. and before anyone says katzenberg, that is different, he was fired and he took disney Ideas with him to dreakworks.

any sense. So they better show how he escapes. Kind of like Peter Jackson did with Gandalf´s battle with the Balrog in TTT. So first things first with Sparrow escaping the Kraken and then they can show Barbossa and co. I read somewhere they just see a carcass of the Kraken. So if Sparrows escape happens off-screen that would be lamest thing ever. Anyway trailer sounds promising.

Reading that description of the RATATOUILLE footage just made me smile. A big, pure, PIXAR smile. I'm excited about this film after reading that and I didn't even SEE the damn footage! Sounds like Brad Bird's gonna have another hit. And that teaser was amazing. From the character detail to the mad tom and jerry style kitchen chase. Can't wait!!

I like the idea that he's actually resurrected rather than him escaping from the kraken without a scratch on him as I thought would happen. The duel with Davey Jones sounds great. As long as they don't go all Matrix and take things too far. I also hope Jack and Barbossa have a rematch at some point, even though they're meant to be on the same side. It would be good if Barbossa betrayed them all to get the Pearl back or something.

I'm waiting for a Pirates film helmed by Zack Snyder. It'll be a five hour film, with everything in slow motion, even the dialogue. "Only pirates give birth to real men." "We pirates have decended from Blackbeard himself." Just picture the Pirates characters saying that in slow motion on an obvious soundstage. Hells yeah!

Although I don’t completely get the ShoWest mindset. Yes it’s for theater owners but they’ve got to realize that movies are for everyone. Ignoring this fact put the theaters into a hole last summer and had, as suggested, people looking to home theater as the future instead of the local multiplex. I don’t blame Quint for not wanting to go back. ShoWest makes me ask the question, “Why?” Still and all, nice coverage of Pirates and Pixar.

I am utterly confused as to why this "Pirates" franchise is so successful. I went in with high hopes. "Could this be the return of the swashbuckler," I said to myself. But alas, a bloated, uninspired, overlong piece of crap. The sword fights were poorly done, and the ghosts were niether scary, funny, or fascinating. And the second was even more of a cartoon.

this film is gonna rock. its gonna rock like yo mamma. brad bird always takes characters to the next level. he gives you a deep insight into who they are and why they do the things they do. THIS is what makes him an extraordinary director. Tell any non-believer to look at family dog and iron giant. hell- even early simpsons. thats my final word from the estates

funnily enough, he did wash his hands in a droplet hanging off the lip of a faucet. You called it. No sign of Sparrow Sr. in the new trailer, unfortunately. But I'm glad they're keeping the moving footage of him under wraps until the film.
