So Ray Stevenson is going to be in a show about zombies? If I understood that correctly I'm effin psyched!!! Although if anyone should do a zombie show it should be HBO. Speaking of, aren't they creating a vampire show as we speak!?

The slave chick is just a power monger, hence trying to sleep with men of power. Anyways she'll be killed off next epidode, mark my words. She'll feed Pullos wife that poison powder stuff and Pullo will kiill her.

Is if Polly Walker was in the wipe swapping show. She's real pretty. Not that the other woman is unattractive. What I'm trying to say is that I would derive sexual gratification from her body. Just so we're clear.
Dammit.

I just read a few descriptions on what the show will be about, sounds like it's gonna blow. Now a straight up Zombie drama starring Pullo on HBO would rock! This, not so much...

at least we got to see a full screen shot of someone washing here titty. The slave girl wants to be Pullo's wife to get more power and status. Brilliant episode I think. The stuff with Atia was pretty damn good and on top of that we get a twisted wedding. God I feel for Octavia. Octavian turned into a real nasty peace of political cock.

And I'm liking this season maybe more that last...probably because it's the last season and they're squeezing in all the historical events they can.

I was kind of underwhelmed by this latest episode of Rome. There was barely any plot development on the part of the major historical characters (lots of groundwork for the following episodes though).

If anything, this felt more like filler given that most of the running time was spent on the second-tier ahistorical characters. This is why I disagree with the people complaining about the series ending after the second season. Sure, Pullo and Vorenus are great, but the rest of the second-tier ahistorical characters aren't. They'd need a lot more characters like Pullo and Vorenus to carry the show beyond Octavian's victory over Marc Antony.

Having said that, yeah, Gaia is hawt. She's going to feed the abortifacient she picked up at the apothecary's shop to Eirene and cause her to have a miscarriage. Pullo or Vorenus will find what's left of the drugs, and realize that the miscarriage was no accident. This will prompt Pullo to ream Gaia a new one (so to speak). With a gladius (*giggle*).

Oh yeah, once again, Simon Woods has failed to play Octavian as well as Max Pirkis would have, had they kept him in the role. *sigh* Woods' Octavian is not even close to being one tenth as calculating and brilliant as Pirkis' was. Biggest mistake of the show.

Why not just call it Shaun of the Dead, the tv series? Sounds like that's what they're trying to do. But I do love Pullo. But I'd rather see him in Series 3 of Rome. I can't believe that's not gonna happen. It's SUCH a great show.

The novels Alan Ball is basing the series on are total shit. I love vampire stories, not lame Anne Rice rip-offs with werejaguars and weredogs. I'll watch for Anna but the source material is strictly 7th grade creative writing class.

I do remember hearing about a Zombie show, i think it was on Fox. wasn't it Kevin Williamson or am i thinking of something else. i remember hearing that it was great. I like the guy who plays Pullo so it'll be good to see him in another show, especially one about zombies. it's still hard for me to watch CBS though.

Fucking best line of the season! And I disagree on the new Octavian/ Augustus/ whatever... I think he's doing a remarkable job. He has the intellect of the kid but is a little quieter, solemn, and evil do to all the war and backstabbing he's experienced firsthand. Also, what the fuck is up with people repeating exactly what I've just said on these forums without giving any recognition of agreeance? Do I come off as that much of an asshole or do you simply not understand what the fuck I've just said? I'm serious, I feel like the invisible man here, fuck!

...as Dirge would be great...he would barely need any makeup. Imagine him swinging a shovel to the tune of Mozart's Dies Irae. But who to play Zoe? The ubiquitous Dakota Fanning? Our 21st Century Jodie Foster is a little bundle of talent, but this really calls for a 21st Century Cristina Ricci.
