Let's see, I live just under 400 miles from LA. I've actually made the drive all night before and it's not that bad. Now it's just a matter of picking which shows to see. That, and selling my blood for gas.

For those who weren't aware, go to the New Beverly's website and check out the film listing for the 5th of April. No better way to see these flicks. No better place to see them either. Cannot wait.

and I still have never seen it. The Lady In Red used to be on The Movie Channel all the time in the 80's. Some great bloody shoot-outs in that one. I finally bought The Dion Brothers on dvd, no thanks to Tarantino. Why doesn't he release some of these films on his dvd label? He puts his name on Jet Li movies but not these???

Hey, can my Grindhouse trailer, Snuff's Enuff, play there? SXSW and Rodriguez won't give up the goods on who's in so travel plans are a bit of a gamble.

with QT --- only the theater I saw them at served BEER and incredible yummies. And most of the time they were triple bills and even all night marathons. Oh well, when you get to Mori's age, you can't handle all nighters. or even triple features for that matter.

You can find prints on 16mm from time to time. I've got a friend with a print - and I've been lucky enough to see QT's 35mm print twice. If you're at a screening of that, "NAME A FISH PLATE AFTER ME!"

My copy has a clear "Mystery Channel" logo that pops up every 30 minutes or so. Picture is good but the sound is garbled. Still very watchable and unedited. I did not buy it from this guy http://pimpadelicwonderland.co m/, BUT he does sell it. I bought it from videograveyard or some such cult movie site (it's been a couple years now).

Look under D. This guy has an "A" grade copy for 20 bucks. I may upgrade as mine is a C+. In fact, this dude is a dream come true for cult movie fans (with a lot of cash). Harry, you seen this? http://pimpadelicwonderland.co m/videolibraryAF.html#Anchor-5 8500

I like QT and all, respect his passion and his dedication to artistic process (which negates the criticism of him as a rip-off artist, even I can admit that's unfair...) But the flavor created with his specific interests, even inside this genre, is very revealing; he has the retarded boy's club sexual maturity of a 13-year-old. Which is probably why his films are so commercially successful.

For splitting up these two movies outside of the US! They did it with Kill Bill and they are doing it again. Will they ever learn? Please sign the online petition to prevent this: http://www.petitiononline.com/ ghsplit/
