yes, it's old news that there were talks to approve a third season, but this is official news from those involved of an official go-ahead for season 3 and 4.

Along with the fact that it'd also be a 22-episode season, as opposed to 13? Either way. Fantastic news. I'm glad that comedies more and more these days are taking the continuing storyline, call back, rewarding viewers approach. It makes things a lot more enjoyable.

it was up in the air because the show is more expensive to make compared to others like athf. it has a longer format, the production is more expensive and there are ususally more characters. the year-long wait is because of this added complexity. writing, storyboard, voice-acting, and korean slave labor takes time.

...and make season three shine, Team Venture. I want this show's perfect batting average to remain untainted. Until recently, I had allowed myself to believe that season two handily eclipsed season one in terms of the funny. Not so. I rewatched all of season one on dvd last week and that shit holds up quite nicely. There simply hasn't been a sub par episode of this show.

you could quote this show all day..it's that good. I loved the Franco American line. At first I thought that renewal was a foregone conclusion given the ending of season two, but then again they could simply be parodying the "cliffhanger" storylines of countless episodic tv shows...the main characters dead??!!, you're pregnant??!!...It is one of the more multi-leveled shows around, animated or not.

The whole episode The Trail of the Monarch is fantastic. I do think the opening (along with the Ghost of Sargossa) is the best opening ever!! Love the statue bit and the whole Mecha-Shiva. Also includes the Dr O legend "Do not enter that room! I had Taco Belllllll for lunch!!" Still a close tie for the Bowie/Space Oddesey opening "Tell my wife I love her very much", "SHE KNOWS.
