Great. Two hours of "Medium shot, close up. Medium Shot, close up. Medium shot, close up. Wide cgi shot... medium shot, close up." Don't give us a sense of scope, don't make me believe this film takes place on another world, just keep harping on that claustrophobic medium shot so I can't even begin to believe that they're ever going to escape that snowy soundstage. Nothing takes me out of a movie more than the director's inability to transport the audience out of a soundstage and into a fully realized world. Jeez, Disney, spend an extra couple of million dollars and shoot this shit outside during the winter scenes. You don't have to use real snow, but c'mon!

If that's what he was contracted to do. If he asked and they let him out fine, but he's not the only person in that play and when you do a show there are lots of people who count on you to do your job so they can do theirs. It's just very unprofessional to just walk out like that for the allure of Hollywood. Then again I'm not passing judgement because I don't know the nature of the situation. It's not like these massive Hollywood epics are going to do so much for his career, at least if he wants to make decent films. He might get the part playing Denzel Washingtons partner in whatever awful film Tony Scott does next but Scorcese isn't going to be looking for his next lead in the new Narnia film. The original was terrible (Im speaking purely from a film standpoint as Ive never read the books.) and these huge franchises tend to be much bigger than any actor in them. If he was really excellent in the play and getting buzz he should have just stuck with it and done good independent films and taken things from there.

A few weeks ago I was reading Temeraire and thinking Peter Jackson will have to come up with some seriously inventive shit to actually make an interesting movie out of it. The same applies here with Prince Caspian. It's the most boring and story-lite of the books and around a quarter of it (or maybe more, I can't remember) is a long flashback of Caspian (who's supposed to be more like 14 than 25 which is what this guy is!) learning from this old wizard guy how he should be the true king of Narnia and not his generic evil uncle. He escapes to find old Narnian animals as seen in the first book and they 'summon' the four kids back to Narnia (which in the end is pretty pointless because they do nothing, just see their old castle all broken down and witness Caspian becoming King). There's literally nothing more to it. They'll have to create extra material to stop it from sucking. They won't have as many problems adapting the next two books - The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader and The Silver Chair. Both of those used to be my favourite books when I was about 10. Then they should do The Horse And His Boy before combining the last two books, The Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle into one big movie which shows the birth and death of Narnia.

Henson productions is saying that "Power of the Dark Crystal" is going to be released in 2008 at this point. And the fact they've decided to postpone the "Legends of the Dark Crystal" manga release from Spring to November proves it. This film might suffer without Tilda in it so they should sack adamson and get Tarantino to direct and write the script and get a better composer as Gregson Williams was shite. Aslan's should be pure Irish, Sean Pertwee should play Miraz, the guy from Stormbreaker should play Caspian and the fucking gorgeous Anna Popplewell should get her kit off.

that the filmmakers gathered together a cast of youngsters with previous acting experience except lucy whose first film was Lion the witch and the wardrobe. I hate that there was no blood in the film and it made the film weak there was a scene where Tilda swinton is about to kill aslan and they edited it such away that you dont see aslan being impaled. It literally cuts away to susan and lucy sobbing at the death of thier friend. Tilda swinton was great in that film. But the kids were proper actors too so that helped.

I also have a thing for brunettes.I've always had a thing for brunettes, maybe it's coz girls of all ethnicities look good brunette, while the same can't be said for blonde and redheads. That's not to say I don't like blondes or redheads though. That would be a stupid reason not to date a girl! :D
