I know that the author's son did the movie, and it has been something like twenty years since I read the book, but every time I see the commercial I keep asking myself, "Did the person that made this even read the book???" because it looks absolutely nothing like the story I remember reading as a kid. I really really hope that the commercials are misleading because they make it look like Narnia Part II, which the book isn't at all.

Maybe I'm remembering the book wrong, but were the inhabitants of Terabithia described anywhere near this detailed? The book is about the relationship between the 2 young friends who play in the woods and pretend to visit a magic land, not the magic land itself. And they better not have a happy sunshine ending either.

they used tons of shitty CGI to make this movie, instead of the ambiance of a child's imagination. It's going to suck the life right out of this story.
