I'm sure this is good and fascinating and all, but Dexter sort of redefined serial killer also. Although nothing on this site would let you know that.

Seriously, I sometimes put the Run Lola Run soundtrack in while I'm driving and life seems to fall into place with the music...every. Time. It's eerie!! I think I'm the only person I know who listens to Pale 3 from the Princess and the Warrior soundtrack especially "Why Don't You Fly To Me" where Franke singtalks to me. Personally. Ok I'm insane. You guys all suck ass though talking in serious past tense about these movies I'm fucking DYING to see like Pan's Labyrinth (Opens here in Portland on the 19th), Children of Men (Opens here on the 5th), and Perfume (I don't even know when that's getting here but when it does-I would be a hypocrite if I didn't see it opening night with all of my "Tom Tykwer is the greatest! i lurves him so much!!"). I couldn't even read most of that interview or other reviews because I don't want to be so spoiled. WHY DO YOU GUYS HAVE TO SUCK SO BAD AND SEE THIS ALREADY LIKE IT'S BLASE?!?!! In conclusion, Captain Panaka rapes babies.

Tom Tykwer is one of the best contemporary directors going. Have to see every one of his films as soon as they come out, just like Fincher, Chan Wook Park, Juenet and PT Anderson. Saw Perfume at the weekend after finally reading the book a week before. Very odd and beautiful story and suprisingly close adaptation of the novel. I think most people who haven't read the book are left a little bewildered when they see the flick, as the plot is pretty strange and almost fairytale like but fans of the book should be pleased and there is some incredible imagery on display. No idea what the americans will make of it when it comes out there...
would have prefered a Alan Rickman story
