And he should subtitle Casanova V2: I HAVE HEARD YOUR PLAINTIVE CRIES, AMERICA. YOU ARE WELCOME, cuz' that'd be a great title.
This would be better without Humph trying to be funny..

reminded us to buy Iron Fist and Casanova, but not Punisher: War Journal at the end. I like the Fractors, er, Fractions work on Iron Fist (but, c'mon it's BRU!) and Casanova is delightfully different, but I really didn't like the first Punisher issue at all. It wasn't just because of the writing, but I actually thought that Olivetti didn't fit well with Frank Castle. I wanted something rougher. If Michael Lark wasn't kicking ass on Daredevil, he'd be good on Punisher: War Journal. Someone like him at least. Good interview @$$es.

Hey, remember when you guys actually did comic book reviews in your comic book reviews? That was cool.

This wasn't the review(s), this was an interview, a "Q & @". We expect our Talkbackers to be attentive enough to read the subject line.

You should no better than that. I mean, what are people supposed to do? Have an attention span? Be attentive? Pfff! Next you'll be asking them to actually read or something. ; )
This wasn't so much an interview...

...as it was a schtick & answers session. Hard truth time, no one reads an interview to hear what the interviewer has to say, and nobody likes an interviewer who tries to overshadow the interviewee with a bunch of stupid (non)jokes to show how (non)clever and (non) witty they are('nt). And this was a particularly bad case of just that. Still, props to Fraction for putting up with it all and doing his best to largely ignore it (unless the schtick was added later, which wouldn't surprise me either).

JK. I hope PWR does well, though lots of people at my LCS are already dropping it. Just wanted to wish all the @$$holes and talkbackers a happy and safe new year. May it bring lots more arguments(Sleazy G), one-sided reviews(Ambush Bug), beratings of family members (Psynapse), actual conversations(The Heathen) and many more eventful moments. MARVEL OWNS YOUR ASS M*%#CKERS!
Oops, I meant PWJ.

But for now, I guess I still will have to be "one-sided" in my reviews. That side being my own, mind you. You know, like stating my own opinion and supporting it. Sorry it doesn't coincide with yours, but that's what makes you and I different, thank god. Happy Holidays to all, even nofate despite his constant negativism.

Looks like i've upset a couple of @$$hole toadies. I know it was an interview. But why does the interview have to be instead of the reviews. Only one guy does the interview. The others could still do the reviews. Lazy.

Because it's the holidays and we do this column for fun not money and well, shit happens. Deal... You haven't upset anyone, you've just pointed out something that happens very rarely and chosen to harp on it like it's a consistent problem. Taking off one week out of the entire year doesn't seem very lazy to me. Hell, you could probably count on one hand the amount of times we've taken a bye week here on this site for the last five years, so pardon us if we don't race to our computers to give you reviews one week...

I dunno, call me crazy, even a toadie if you so must, but maybe it has something to do with it being the Holidays? I wasn't upset at you really, I just didn't get your point. The @$$holes have 'real' jobs that 'pay' besides writing for AICN. The fact that we had the annual Christm@$$ column and an interview instead of a full reviews column is still work and it's more than I've managed recently with Christmas, family and New Years. Lazy? Fuckin' A. You could always write up reviews and send them in and show us how non-lazy you are. Now I feel sore, like a guy who's angry in a movie from the 1950's. Look what you did.

Anyway, enough of that nonsense. nofate, thank you sir. And hey, I just realized that Civil War is now easily worse than Infinite Crisis. Even if the 6th and 7th issue kick ass like IC's 1st and 4th, there's no way to redeem CW fully. Even if it was some mind control gimmick at the end or something. Just wanted to sprinkle some debate in their for the holidays. : ) From now on I'm just going to mention AXM, Runaways and Brubaker to nofate. Then we can all be happy right? Go MARVEL!!! ; ) Hope you and everyone else has a Happy New Year. To all my Cogs, @$$holes and fellow Tb'ers… enjoy it and be safe.

I just wanted to say i'm sorry for to everybody thats been dragged into this. But I really enjoy and depend on those reviews before I go and buy my stuff. Once again, I apologize, but be warned! I will be monitoring the reviews/interviews ratio. Just kidding. Everyone have a good New Year.

rocks. Drugs, alternate universes, drugs, robots, drugs, sex, rock 'n roll, "Hiya, earthmen" post-scripts that give a glimpse of the twisted mind of the creator (Fraction), drugs, Fabula Berserko, ultra-violence, social commentary, drugs, filicide, gratuitous (male!) nudity, drugs...

All right, so Sci-Phedelic has that whole brevity is wit thing going on, but still...anyway, since I'm sure you're not reading this Matt, ever listen to This Heat? The 20minute chord changing, clackity-clack freakout that is "Repeat" makes for great background ambiance while reading your book, give 'em a spin while writing, sure to inspire you to even crazier heights.

Thanks for the shout outs to Oakland, and props for Ba's "COLOR IS EVIL!".

Fraction = Good story telling

Fraction's got a slightly twisted story telling technique that works on many levels. Not only is he one to watch for but one to enjoy NOW. There are aspects of Ellis detectable here and there, (probably a strong influence) but I think the dude stands on his own quite well. He has obviously read a shit load of comics, because he treats the stories with respect...and a sense of fun. Thank god there's a comic book writer who remembers we often read comics to have a good time.
