300 isn't the stuff of legend - it is the legend!

300 does not fuck around. The action, nudity, passion, poetry, composition... just every fucking thing about it was LEGENDARY. The score is like the first time I watched CONAN THE BARBARIAN - where the music took what I saw and hammered and forged my mind into a red hot passion for the film. ONLY - this time, how the music sounds EQUALS the images on screen. It's Mind Blowingly Fucking Awesome! And - as much as I loved that... the single image of Dr Manhattan that Zach showed me from his iPod blew my fucking mind. OH MY GOD! So much joy in such a small image.
Knocked up didn't quite skullfuck me with a hammer...

The weight was there for Seven, Requiem, Private Ryan, Eternal Sunshine, and a few others. Granted, Knocked up isn't a movie like those, but I still need to be skull-fucked by a hammer for a film to make a long-lasting impression OK.

Oh, come on, Harry! Don't hold out on us. Who was Dr Manhattan? What was in the photo? I loved 300, but I'd have loved a slideshow of Watchmen even more.
Oh such a classy review:

Wasn't originally too psyched to see Rocky Balboa. But w/ all the positive things being posted and the Sly Q&A I'm gonna go just to make sure Mr. Stallone gets my $8.00.

There was a strange fixation on this word throughout the review.

As any other red blooded male I am ready to be owned by both of these. I believe in Sly, and trust he has done the right thing for "Rocky" and the fans. 300 equals getting my ass handed to me in the theatre. Can't wait for em both; Harry sounds like you delivered again big man.

Seriously, Rocky Balboa blew me and my friends away when we saw a screening of it like a month ago, and it still holds for me as my favorite of the year. Certainly one of my best film experiences ever...that rush of energy that takes over the entire audience during the last fight is not imagined.

Anybody notice the dialogue in the 300 trailer is ridiculously bad. Maybe the movie actually has better dialogue becuase "TONIGHT!WE!DINE!IN!HELL! is really lame.

So, you see Dr Manhattan? Well, f***ing tell us about it and not just hint about that somehow you are now in the Inner Circle of Cooldom. Yes, yes, you run the site and are named "Headgeek," etc etc. We get it. Now - give up the goods on Watchmen!............Please.
Bullshit on Black Book

You can ignore this review of The Black Book. It's a wonderful movie. It just wasn't whiz-bang wonderful like so many other things at BNAT. The Black Book was easily in my top three from BNAT8. It's a beautiful historical thriller. Wonderful performances by everyone, amazing cinematography, and just a solid and methodical war thriller. It is certainly a bit of a throwback to more thoughtful films of the past. I was reminded of THE RUSSIA HOUSE by this film. The film fit in beautifully with the rest of BNAT8's (unintentional?) theme of perseverance.
Spill the beans Harry!!!!

You saw a pic of Dr. Manhattan and you don't tell us what/who is on it? WTF??? You know what? You got two choices: Either you get that kind of stuff from your Hollywood friends and you shut up about it, or you pass this information right down to us, your loyal readers. But don't fuck around teasing us with a sentence that basically says: "I know a secret, but I'm not gonna tell you! Nananana!" That's just not cool.
