This is my "can't wait to see it" movie for 2007. I just hope it doesn't run afoul of the MPAA and Universal can get its R rating without trimming the violence.

"Reference" is not a verb. "Reference" is not a verb. I know you want it to be a verb. It is not. Why is it that during my lifetime assholes of all persuesions have agreed never, ever to refer to anything!?!?!? I hate.

BRITISH COP MOVIE?!

This has been a long time coming. I mean, when was the last time you saw an action packed british "Lethal Weapon"? And yes it will be funny, but I don't know...their taking the American action cop genre and turning it British! I like that, and I hate that at the same time. Unless they give credit where credit is due, then I'd have no problem with it. But I mean, we're at war, and they're steeling our sh@%! It's like, what the hell man? Unless they give credit! And they probably will! Which is cool, "ain't it"? I just feel like rambling.
Any movie that references "Point Break" must be good.

LOl Shaun of the Dead was great. I love the fact that they are rehashing the fence joke again but putting a new twist on it. Arg! Why didn't I make it into Octo-butt-numb-a-thon!? Lucky bastards. :) http://www.myspace.com/movieba ttleroyale

The accents and humour are going to be like day-to-day living for me. The main influence is Lethal Weapon according to the Pegg, so i'm not surprised if it's bloody. Please be an 18, please. The only thing that worries me is the fact that Edgar Wright has said that he became obsessed with Domino's editing style whilst making this movie, but i'm sure he's too smart to go OTT with it.
What about the visuals???

If you're involved in the movie, please tell me a little smidge about the visuals. I've loved all of Edgar Wright's work since Mash & Peas/Asylum days. Who shot this? was it David Dunlap again? or has Andy Hollis finally gone and shot a movie? (coz he bloody well should). Any Spaced alumni cameos? I cannot belienve this isn't a bigger talkback!
