Then it would've been better for you to combine those together so it's feel like a full length film! Now I'm gonna torrent and wait till I see them on discount! In any case I personally loved the Hellsing TV series! Then began reading the Manga which rocks! When the hell does the next book release??? Hasn't it been a year?

My big complaint about the OVA... they got rid of the music that made Hellsing so memorable in the TV series! And I'm a bit turned off by the obvious CG in the OVA... The TV series as low budget as it was ahd a great flair to it! But I can't wait to check out how the Mellenium Nazi arc in animation, and hopefully they'll show more of the Dawn and the other Hirano side/origin stories that haven't been released in manga form here yet, and I'd especially hope to see some of the Cross-Fire ones that were included in the manga, those were just badass!

Anyway, hope you got my Lain entry Scott.

Raideen Remake! Childhood favorite. Looks like a darker version which with (if I remember correctly) it's "God" themes would be pretty damn cool. I've heard the last episode had Raideen battling all the enemies he encountered throughout the entire series at once but I don't know how he defeats them all or how it ends. If anyone can fill me in, I'd be eternally grateful.

Re: Flynn Jynn. Asking for recommendations for anime/manga is like asking for recommendations for books. There're so many different types/genres/styles that it'd be impossible to give you any sort of recommendation without really knowing what type of stuff you like. There's stuff written for a female audience, male audience, children, teens, adults, horror, scifi, romance, erotica, mystery, action, sports, history, 4 pannel comics, "slice of life" etc. Browsing some anime info sites like animenewsnetwork might be a good place to start though. There, you can see what the "popular" titles are and read a brief synopsis to see if it might interest you. Also, in some cases the manga (book) form can be much better then the anime version. Re: Hellsing. I've only seen the first few episodes of the TV anime and I haven't read the manga but I couldn't get into it. I know it's really popular though. Maybe I'll give it another shot.
