nice job on the reviews, Latauro, and don't worry about being too positive. lots of new movies coming out soon that will swing the pendulum back to neutrality. and now that I know you review short films, I'm shooting my next one with all Aussie accents just so I can send it in! John Travolta to star in a new TV series: Xenu, the Warrior Princess!!

It's good that you took the time to review these but how do we see them?

I didn't watch the awards, but I read that afterwards.
Oh, and The Departed is all sorts of awesome.

Favourite film for me too. Leonardo DiCaprio and Marky Mark were ridiculously awesome.

at least I think so. I don't think the ex-X-files star is directing downunder, is she? Armstrong is a notable Aussie director who has done a few foreign flicks including Little Women and Charlotte Grey (was that what it was called? the Cate Blanchette resistance leader movie?).

i'm hoping Candy takes this out... tho I have only seen 2 of the 4 best film nominations (the other being Ten Canoes). Candy has to be the best AUstralian film I have seen in probably the last decade. There was something strangely uplifting and honest about it.
Armstrong? Anderson? What's the difference?

Hahahaha! Oh, I'm always making retarded mistakes like that. Vintage Latauro. Well spotted, ephor. WrongMan: you're right about Micallef. I was going to mention it, but I thought it might ruin my argument for Micallef taking over.

I thought "Micallef" was a really awkward typo of "Mirajeff" at first...I need to brush up on my Aussie writer/comedians...
BadWonka- you need to buy The Micallef P(r)ogram(m)(e).

Look it up! NOW! And Lat...Guy! Wrong GUY, not wrong MAN! The movie is called The Wrong Guy, not The Wrong Man. Geez...you're no Dave Foley fan, that's for sure.
I will look into it

and man, Lat, your factcheckers are large and in charge! I thought Aussies were supposed to be laid back and drunk. how can you get all your facts/names right if you're both of those? Zach Braff to follow up his Garden State triumph with a sequel about Terry Schaivo, called "The Vegetable State".
