You guys wanna revive 2D features right? BRING THIS MAN ON BOARD. I'd Seriously buy a dozen tickets to that. He's the only relevant American indie animator/writer alive. Fer Chrissake people get seriously excited for months about the release of his newest short film. Who else can say that? Ive been a fan of this guy's stuff for 8 years and the DVD solidifies his genius although kind of scary genius when you see the behind the scenes stuff. They've quietly cooked up a stunner of a DVD - IMHO I might go so far as to say "DVD of the Year". Kampai!!

Been a while since I've read and enjoyed an interview from start to finish. Good stuff! I love Hertzfeldt and the fact that he's really putting in some great effort on his own to ensure that his work is being transferred nicely to dvd.

It's a pencil sketch by Don on a Postit note of the little animal at the end of "The Meaning Of Life". Only the first 750 preorders placed were promised free gifts and I think you had to been Megafast to have got one. I placed my order in in like the first 10 mintues.

I've seen Rejected also, very funny stuff. Can't wait to see more. Thanks for the interview, it was interesting how Hertzfeldt took something he was inclined to do as a child and turned it into something he loves to do as an adult. To few of us actually do that with our lives.
