worries for another day... Hell yes. I too want to see more of inner space(there was this episode where they found a mummified fraggle that still gives me nightmares), but, ah well. Let's see more odd Fragglish commentary on human society. I'd like to hear the fraggles' take on cellphones and such.

Didn't we learn from the 4-5 attempted re-boots to the muppet show that kids don't like puppets anymore? its sad because i love the muppets, but this is doomed to fail unless theres some "witty" twist and make it a comedy for stoner teenagers with Jon Heder in it talking about Ligers. In that case, it will DEFINATELY fail. Fraggle Rock was awesome, but somethings just cant be brought back to the way we loved them. *tear*

who is this going to appeal to? everyone who grew up on this show is now in their 30's or older. whats the deal with all these 80's movies and television shows suddenly coming back. arnt' these films about 20 years too late? I love Fraggle Rock, but this seems to be the wrong time for this film. Perhaps 1987 would have been good.

Please find some other outlet to express how awesome your girlfriend is and get her off this 'news' site. Personality journalism can be endearing, but her irrelevant referencing is becoming annoying. Sorry to be rude, but I am a heartless monster and it spoils what is, for me, an otherwise enjoyable site.

Uh, you've already reported this back at Comic Con (the Jim Henson panel with the Dark crystal and such announced it). I've talked about it a lot on various forums across the Internets. So yeah. Hella, hella, HELLA old news.
Never saw it.

Never saw Fraggle Rock. Not once. Haven't a clue about it. But Muppet fans...if you're ever really, really bored, check out Muppets From Space on DVD with the commentary track by Kermit and Gonzo, MST3K-style. Fozzie shows up as well. There's seriously more legitimate laughs in that than there is in the film.

Let me explain. Fraggle Rock remains the best childrens programm Henson ever did and arguably the best kids tv show ever. The Fraggles was made in the UK and the US and canda and Fraggle Rock ruled by the Gorgs had a very large Lighthouse on top of it in the UK and in the US Jerry nelson played Doc who owned a DIY store. Anyhow, the lighthouse keeper was played by two different actors. While he was alive Lighthouse keeper one was foulton McKay Aka Mister McKay from from the Sitcom POrridge by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais and later on when McKay died his role was taken over by John Gordon Sinclair. Mckay the lighthouse keeper had a dog called sprocket and there was hole in the wall that allowed the fraggles to go into and out of the lighthouse. The fraggle world was the most amazing thing ever and Henson and company really pulled all the stops. There was Marjorie the talking Trash heap which gave the fraggles advice, there the Doozers who were mini fraggle construction workers. The fraggles enemy were the Gorgs who were incredible large as wells being increibly thick theres ma Gorg, pa gorg who might have been king and queen and junior gorg. the Fraggles themselves were boober, wembly, red, gobo and mokey. The only one to Escape Fraggle Rock and go and see the world(our World) Gobo's Uncle travelling Mat. In the end the Fraggles befriend everyone.

This is getting to be as annoying as Mori constantly mentioning his girlfriend in his reviews a few years back. Maybe Harry should just create a shrine to his beloved at the top of every page to make sure we all know he's got a girl. Then maybe we wouldn't have to read about her all the time.
Is this like one of those SAT analogies?

Tom Cruise :: Katie Holmes as Harry :: his fiance'e ? When's the date? Engagements with no definite and obvious end are cop-outs.

Dark Crystal 2 and now a Fraggle Rock movie...hells yeah! Written by the son of Frank Zappa, huh? I can only imagine the hippie Fraggles sitting around a bong talking about how they're really just a world inside a larger world that's probably inside an even larger world.

It was on Wednesday nights on HBO. That night was awesome in my household growing up. We'd pick up dad from work and go grocery shopping at Path Mark. Get home. Put a TV dinner in the microwave. watch Charles In Charge, (first season with the original family and before Buddy became retarded) followed by the Fall Guy. Switch to HBO and watch a new episode of Fraggle Rock! I welcome this movie, but didn't Jim Henson voice Uncle Travelling Matt? Won't be the same.
