makes me think of that one time on Arsenio Hall when Jason came to plug Friday the 13th, Jason Takes Manhattan. Two and a half minutes of hockey mask staring at Arsenio and awkward silences...
Jack Black? What about Lewis Black?

I thought on the TV commercials I'd seen Lewis Black was supposed to be on it, I'd much rather him than Jack Black. I checked the Comedy Central website and Jack Black is what it says. Here's to hoping it's a typo.

The lineup is kinda "meh". No Conan? No Leary? No Oswald? Lame.

Will Arnett *yawn*
Jack Black (Unless he's singin', don't care.)
Steve Carell (I preferred Colbert)
Kristin Chenoweth (WHO?)
Stephen Colbert (See Carell.)
Elvis Costello *yawn* (Is that his real name? Or is it a Marilyn Manson type of deal?)
Jimmy Fallon (He sucks, but I'll admit, he was better on Weekend Update than Myers.)
Will Ferrell (OVERRATED. Well, unless he's doing that character that just yells at his kids. That's funny.)
Will Forte (When he's good, he's golden.)
Fred Armisen ("I'M JUST KEEDING!")
Ricky Gervais (Umm...sorry, but Shermy no have the BBC.)
Norm Macdonald (BEST WEEKEND UPDATE ANCHOR EVER!!! "y'know")
Christopher Meloni (See Kristin Chenoweth.)
Moby ("Nobody listens to techno!")
Oscar Nunez (See Kristin Chenoweth)
Mike Myers ("George Bush hates Black people", I hate people that whore out the same Scottish accent for every other character.)
Bob Odenkirk & David Cross (David Cross' biggest claim to fame: GTA San Andreas ;) )
Amy Poehler (Kaitlyn: The Movie, make it so.)
Paul Rudd (Did Trudy have the baby yet on RENO911!? I missed the last few episodes, I think.)
Borat Sagdiyev (He crashed my local rodeo, which is in the movie. Can't wait to see it!)
Adam Sandler (He will never surpass the masterpiece that is The Waterboy.)
Amy Sedaris (Not exactly gorgeous, but dammit, her personality is so fucking attractive.)
Martin Short (He still has a career?)
Tony Sirico (See Kristin Chenoweth)
Jon Stewart (Mr. Pencil In The Eye is THA MAN!)
Ben Stiller (How about making a funny movie for a change? "Do it. ... Do it.")
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog (Worst excuse for a puppet EVER!)
Brian Williams (Um...I'm a CBS guy, although, It's kinda hard being one nowadays (Couric SUCKS!!!), but he seems like an ok guy. I totally give him props for doing the season opener for SNL, which was probably the WORST episode in years. I still can't believe they repeated it last night.)

And like Wungolioth said WHAT ABOUT LEWIS BLACK? He's the man.

Loved the shot at Carell by RG. Stewart is the perfect host for this. IMO, you can see that he cares about thus charity by his enthusiasm and sincerity in thanking the people. Just can not bring myself to enjoy Borat

That's a fantastic idea about Borat hosting. I see this being more likely than Cohen hosting as himself, as most people hardly even know if him as himself is funny.

Has put on some lbs. Odenkirk rules. Borat was amusing, even if I do not care for the ali g show, but i can see the humor in it. Overbooked? That's why I will have a 20 second gap in my DVR'ing of this show.

people are far too hard on her. "Saturday Night Live", whether because of its format or because of creative restrictions imposed, is stifling her genius, which anybody that has seen the Upright Citizens Brigade on Comedy Central or live can attest to. I cannot defend Martin Short, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, or Will Ferrell, though...

Borat hosting SNL
by Poacher
Oct 18th, 2006

Would not be a breakthrough. Funny, but not a breakthrough. Paul Reubens hosted as Pee-Wee Herman way back in the 80s, so he wouldn't be breaking any new ground.
