He's reviewing a comedy, which he compares unfavorably to Dumb and Dumber, and then admits to not having seen that movie in its enirety. That is where I stopped reading.

clearly showed that the reviewer compared the movie to "Dumb and Dumber", which he presumably saw all of, and also to "Dumb and DumberER", the sequel, which he did not see all of. That raises his credibility with me, for who would want to see all of "Dumb and Dumberer"? (I didn't see any of it.) I think if the reviewer saw even a little bit of the sequel, he can get enough of an idea of it to know when something else reminds him of it.

It amazes me that this film got made. This script was terrible. Terrible. Forte can't write dialogue to save his life and his characters are 2 dimensional idiot doofuses which were cool maybe 10 years ago when Jim Carrey had to play those kind of characters. I'm not surprised the reviewer thought this sucked. What I'm most surprised with is that the brain dead idiots in Hollywoodland don't realize that a guy like Forte is a talentless hack. He can't even do a decent Bush on SNL.

He definitely seemed to not know what he was talking about. Also the fact that he doesn't appreciate Will Arnett is one of the bigger problems here, which is fine, but he's obviously going to be one of the selling points of the movies. I'm not going to gage my anticipation for this film based on this review, but in my eyes Forte, Odenkirk, and Arnett are all fantastic. The reviews one redeeming point is that he was a fan of "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang".

I'm willing to take your word that the script is terrible, but Arnett has gone on record to say that it is one of the funniest things that he has ever read. Now I don't know if made he was trying to build good word of mouth, but a guy that has obviously read every episode of "Arrested Development" and to STILL say this is one of the funniest things that he has read, is certainly a serious statement.

If Arnett is going on record saying that I think he's trying to convince himself he just slept with the prom queen when in reality he just fucked the shy awkward girl who keeps a scrapbook full of pictures of Clay Aiken on her at all times to be closer to Clay. Forte is a horrible writer from what I've seen. Everytime the guy gets work, I scratch my head. I'll give him that once in awhile he can act funny in a sketch...but as a writer he sucks. Unless someone was brought in to punch this script up after the draft I read, I can't imagine it's gotten better being brought to life.

will arnett is in arrested development, not will forte. easy mistake to make i guess, but one that can be just as easily fixed by watching the show. (even after its demise i feel i have to pimp it)

ok i have yet to hear a thing about this flick. but i have a SERIOUSLY hard time believing Bob Odenkirk and Will Arnett got together to make another Dumb and Dumber. I mean, jesus, really?
