"Yeah, well, some of us can't see in the DARK, ya fuckin nipplehead; what the hell am I SPOSED to do?" BTW, Russell is always solid; I've liked him in just about everything I've seen him in. Anyone remember Unlawful Entry, when he went toe-to-toe with Ray Liotta?

And I have no idea why. I know he does a good job, that's he's been in good movies, and that he works hard, but for some chemical reason I do not like him, and I have no idea why. For some strange reason though, I DID like him in Vanilla Sky. I'm not attacking him at all here, just posting my strange Russell-related problem.

Big Trouble In Little China!!! I'm talking John Carpenter, Kurt Russell, Dennis Dun, James Hong, etc... Get 'em all back. Hell, even find a way to CGI Victor Wong in there somehow. The world needs a secod helping of the Pork Chop Express. "When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye and asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: 'Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail.'"

No offense, but I feel you're only as strong as your weakest link. Did anyone actually see Sharkboy and Lava-Girl in 3D? Who the FUCK thought that was a good idea? I like Rodriguez because he's ballsy. But damned if he can't get so wrapped up in needing to shoot something that he forgets to write the script first.

I understand that we are getting a "full length" (80 min) out of QT but it's still not the same. I then have to sit through a Robert "hit or miss" Rodriguez film afterwards. It may kill the atmosphere that only QT can create. I'd rather it was released in two seperate films "Death Proof" and "Planet Terror".

Aren't those establishments called CONVENIENCE stores? I only ask because that's what I've always thought they were called, but now in the past two days I've seen two separate instances of someone referring to them as CONVENIENT stores. I guess that either way, the last part of the first word and the first part of the word "store" blend together in the same way. Whatever. Maybe I'm crazy. CreasyBear, please don't think I'm just attacking you or anything, 'cause I'm definitely not. I'm just honestly wondering what the consensus is on this.

First off, Tarantino has said that both segments of Grindhouse will run about two hours apiece, not 80 minutes ("This isn't going to be a 'Twilight Zone: The Movie' thing"). Secondly, if you don't want to watch the Rodriguez segment, and if it's second on the double-bill...*don't watch it*. Just walk out.

I'm under the impression that the film will be 3 hours total. That's 1 hour and 20 minutes per film with about 10 minutes of "trailers". By your reckoning the film will be over 4 hours. I don't see that happening.

Who's anticipating the final two Kill Bill movies and the final two Sin City movies? That's what I'm waiting for. Especially the Kill Bill anime prequel and Kill Bill Volume 3 with Beatrix fighting Elle Driver and B.B. fighting Nikkia. THE SHIZZIT! Kurt Russel beats ass unapologeticly. Better choice than Mickey Rourke, by far. Rourke is Marv and will kick ass in Elmore Leonard's Killshot, which was partially shot in the downtown my hometown of Cape Girardeau, MO. Oh, and quit bashing QT, assholes. So he's lazy, so what?

Kill Bill is gonna take something like 15 years, right? Cause that girl has got to grow up. I wondered what was up with the "honey" too. Also a little disappointed with the Red Apple Tans as I always thought of them as Red Apples, Green Apples, Gold Apples, etc. Stupid - I know. I just like those. On the sign, it looks like "blood" where "block ice" is.
