Was by far the weakest of King's short story collections, IMO. Most of it read like all the stuff he had lying around at the bottom of his junk drawer, and that he realized he could throw all together and make another cold million. I think there was even something about a Lamp Monster in there. Anyway, Night Shift and Skeleton Crew kicked ass--even more than most or all of his novels, methinks.

lovely kinetic folk licks. His theme for Monk is great too; why they ditched it for Randy Newman I'll never know.

Jeff Beal's work on CARNIVALE and ROME is outstanding. I find myself humming the theme from CARNIVALE all the time, great stuff. Does anyone have an idea when the second season of ROME starts? I must say, I'm enjoying the show so much more this second time than the first time I watched it. Oh, great interview ScoreKeeper!
