Bruce Campbell is a voice in this movie. It's a movie based on the Aqua Teens, which is one of the best cartoons on TV currently. Their mother is a burrito with tits. This guy is fucking crazy.

I am a fan of the show, but I definitely admit that it's uneven. There are some brilliant moments but also entire episodes that are just stupid. I could see them going with a plot that turns out to be really lame and ending with with a crappy movie. I do hope that the reviewer was someone who didn't like the show and that it will be more appealing to fans.

As long as Master Shake is obnoxious, Meatwad tries to act tough (you heard me boy), Frylock deadpans, and Carl gets pissed off I'll be fine. I don't expect an epic story, I just expect them to be them. Anything beyond that is cake.

When ATHF is on it is DEAD ON... but when it is off, it sucks balls. I can imagine more than 15 minutes at a time can get a bit mind numbing. Let's face it, now that we have seen Venture Bros, ATHF just isn't as great as it seemed. All he says is "the movie is supposed to be about the origins of the Aqua Teens," but no actual plot (or what passes for plot in ATHF) specifics. Which scenes did he actually like? Which scenes could have been better? Which scenes should have been cut altogether? I mean, I haven't seen this film and I could write the exact same thing Raindog said...only with better capitalization.

this movie might have interested someone. ATHF is just over. it was funny sometimes (the aliens whose father owned a car dealership, and the one with the cell phone), but now it just sucks. i was thinking that the movie was going to be 90 minutes of frylock beating a dead-horse-shaped meatwad into the ground. sounds like i'm not far off.

but I haven't gotten a good laugh out of that show in years. Venture Bros. isn't funny to me either- I don't get the hype. I'm starting to think that the only really funny adult swim stuff was Space Ghost and Sealab. Or that Brak singalong shit way back when... that was incredible stuff.

...to put a whole lot of stock in this guy's very vague impression of the movie. He knows the runtime and, roughly, at what point they get to the origin part (actually, I'm glad it's not at the beginning or being drawn out throughout a signikficant portion of the movie...more time for nonsensical funny shit). I think maybe his comment about coming off a 12-hour shift was the most useful to me. I'd imagine I wouldn't be in the mood for much but sleep after that, either.

I live in the southern United States. I do not work for Cartoon Net Or Adult Swim. I have seen the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie Film For Theatres. The gentleman who posted the snarky review was indeed having a bad day. He is sofa king. We Todd Ed! While I can dig the concept of lowering expectations, the truth is, or my truth anyway, is that ATHFMFFT it is a delight from start to finish. It is as long as six episodes but has the creative spirit of like 20 crammed into it. Liberated from the basic cable universe, the storylines can and do go totally wack. Plus all the animation, once standard definition with a low budget charm, is now high resolution widescreen fancy ass, with a low budget charm. It flew by and I was sorry it ended.
