I take back my denial the other day. I DO run a semi-homoerotic website devoted to your reviews. www.downunderlatauro.com...fun ny shit man. gibson is an obvious target, but I like your angle on it. I hope he never gets work again, unless they make another mad max. I still haven't seen Clerks II, mostly because a friend of mine who's opinion on film I really respect said he hated it. but I'm curious and I'm sure I'll see it at some point. if I love it, then he and I can have some really great arguments about it. I was one of those that HATED clerks when it came out, I thought it was garbage on a stick. just bad acting, bad framing, bad audio, bad everything. then I realized years later after starting film school the influence it has. for all its flaws and dick jokes, it really did change cinema. tarantino and smith, video stores have never looked more enticing after I just got done paying through the ass for film school.

Yeah, I wasn't going to go the Gibson joke route because I felt it had been done to death, but I felt I had a pretty good angle on it. I couldn't find a decent link to it, but the Gibson quote I was using is: "Do you know what it takes to get rid of a dead body? To cremate it? It takes a litre of petrol and 20 minutes. Now, six million of them? They (the Germans) did not have the gas to do it. That's why they lost the war."
holy hell

that's horrible. define irony: Gibson's holocaust miniseries is cancelled because of his drunken anti-semetic remarks to a cop in LA, thus depriving people of viewing the TRUE depths of his wacko anti-semetism when the miniseries would be broadcast-- claiming only about 425 Jews died in WWII, mostly of gold related poisoning...he can sit on his billions and cry and never work again as far as I'm concerned. conservatism is one thing, but insitutionalized hatred and loathing is another. why can't we all be like Henri? http://tinyurl.com/pbpqs (shameless self promotion)

It looks to have a similar, bogan-centred, don't-bother-with-any-actu al-jokes formula as that of K&K. But I dunno- maybe I'm mistaken...

Ya know what, Its odd but I was watching Serenity, and I had just finished watching Indiana Jones. I was thinking, I wonder how many actors could pull off Indy. Ford of course, I thought River Phoenix would have been really good if he had lived. And I was thinking Nathan Fillion, funny, big guy, handles action really well, and funny like Ford. I say Nathan for the new INDY :) What do you say George, and Steven, new indy? Fernwick www.theidiottestament.com
Nathon Fillion was obviously channeling Ford...

in Serenity. He did a decent job, but I don't think anyone other than Harrison Ford should play Indiana Jones on the big screen. I could see him stretching his skills and being a good Bruce Banner. That project is going down the toilet so fast they don't have much to lose anyways.
I'd take another JERSEY GIRL in a heartbeat.

Whoa, that's a huge mistake. Looks like the Incredible Hulk isn't going to be very incredible. I wish Marvel understood that they HAD a great cast already, they just needed a stonger story. It's pretty much a no-brainer. It did better than Fantastic Four and that cast is staying. What the hell?
Nathan Fillion for Indy?

Why would we want a poor man's Indy when we already had a poor man's Han Solo? Just (half) kidding - he was cool in Slither. Leave Indy alone though - even grumpy old Ford is closer to the Indy of old than some other pretender. Besides which, I think Dennis Quaid would get upset if Fillion cut in, he's been waiting in the line so long. Lastly in terms of irony Mr Wonka I reckon an even stronger one is that a supposedly rampantly anti-semitic guy wasn't discouraged by the disinterest of Jewish Hollywood (and their refusal to back the flick) and went to such lengths to make that movie about that nice Jewish fella he likes so much. Having said that of course the KKK do think they're Christians, don't they?!
Oh yeah the Browncoats, all 50 of them...

I hate Avi Arad. People blame Rothman for bringing in Ratner but I think it was Arad`s choice. Look he hired Mark Steven Johnson for Daredevil, Tim Story for Fantastic Four. He seems to have a phobia with good filmakers. That goes for his actor choices too. Purcell will destroy what remained of the Hulk franchise.
