that Lucas perpetrated on the masses, otherwise known as Episode I...? The guys last words are, "Lucas...raped my childhood...cock...suck...uhrr r..." Sort of like Yoda's last words when he died in Episode VI: "There...is...anuh...thurrr... "
This movie is about...

People desperately trying to see a movie that most rational people are desperately trying to forget. Aside from the fact that Kristen Bell is in it, I can't imagine who it would appeal to, outside of the Star Wars fanbase who has convinced themselves that the prequels are anything but trash. It's criminal that this got fast-tracked while the superior indie 5-25-77 still languishes without a release. Truly sad.

I mean this in a kind way. It would suck if Episode I was the last movie you saw before you died.
What's With the Names?

Does everybody in a "geek" movie have to have weird and unusual names? Does that make them more geek?
And Kristen Bell isn't even mentioned in the review...

...that we see them sitting in the theater from behind ripping on the movie MST3K style. In fact, wouldn't that have been a better movie all around? I dunno, but I do want to see this.

I don't understand why an animated Indianapolis Colt Head coach Tony Dungy is punching animated Snake-Harry in the corner of my computer screen.

She's basically the hot geek girl that we all dream about but who doesn't actually exist - not unlike Audie England's character in Free Enterprise. Oh, and the movie is o.k. Worth watching for the hardcore Star Wars fans, although it felt a little cliche. That is, it's mostly stuff that we Star Wars nerds have already said to each other; it doesn't feel particulary fresh. Still, I recommend it. The two best cameos in particular are very good.

twist

Maybe there's a twist at the end. They see the movie, then the dying guy says, "Well, hell. I might die, but, by God, I'm taking George Lucas with me." And then they go and get knives, and the final scene is them slinking down a darkened corridor toward George's study, where he sits writing Episode II, writing the scene where C3-PO says "What a drag". George is chuckling to himself, thinking how clever he is, and the door creaks open, and there the guys are with their knives, and the dying guy says, "Hello. I'm your biggest fan." And George looks at him, and George's face goes pale. Then the dying guy says, "Mesa just kidding. Jar Jar was awesome!" And they all start dancing to disco music Simpsons-style. Or maybe not.

It may premiere at a few screens, but I can't see this opening wide or being promoted much. It sounds like it will be like Free Enterprise (in terms of how it will be promoted and distributed).

The kid beats cancer, renounces all things Star Wars because of how terrible the prequels are, and the final scene is the gang waiting in line for Return of the King and debating with a group of Harry Potter fans. The End.

" ...It would suck if Episode I was the last movie you saw before you died." Here is a news clip on YouTube about Star Wars fans who saved the first place in line for E1 for a dead guy. Lucky for him... http://tinyurl.com/g54tt

I cringed a bit when I read those names. Windows? Did he give himself that name or did his friends? If the latter, why would they still be his friends?
