It was several people's buzzer's, plus, on one of the early questions, Boogie didn't even have an answer up, but Julie kept going. So it affected everybody, which is why it was only fair to have everyone redo it, because it's impossible to determine how it affected everyone. Glad Janelle won, though. Wish she would put up James. Just listened to a radio interview with his girlfriend, who said James planned before the show started to betray Janelle and Kaysar, which is why he made up that excuse about Janelle backstabbing him.

If you're eliminated during an error filled contest deemed unfair to the players so that there must be a "do-over" then since the competition in which you competed is null and void, so is your elimination. Think of an Olympic sprinter who sets a new world record, but upon review a false start should have been called. Race redo, no record. Besides, Janelle went out on the question where Boogie's lights didn't work, so who is to say if he would have answered that question correctly or not. SO that question should have been redone live, which would have given Janelle new life. George and Marcellas were the first 2 out before the problems with the equipment appeared, but you can't not redo the comp without them, because then they have grounds for a lawsuit...that they were unfairly eliminated by faulty equipment that is it had worked properly, they may not have been eliminated for being the slowest.
