did they get him for the role coz his name sounded similar? he wasn't bad but there must be better choices, though none on the other hulk tb sounded good at all. well, except - i can haughtily say - for my jim cavaziel suggestion of course. banner needs to be a haunted/hunted man, not an angry one. that's the hulk's thing. cavaziel's face certainly has that quality at times. i've only seen him in count of montethingy (adequate fluff) and thin red line (awesome) so i'm not sure what else he could pull off, ahem. bana, okay but...etc

I don't mind Fraser (in fact, sometimes I quite like him, such as in Gods & Monsters and The Quiet American), but the idea of him playing Bruce Banner makes me want to smash things. So in that sense, it's nice to hear that Bana might still return for the sequel. But overall, I'm just not too excited by the prospect of a Hulk 2. It could have a fun sequence or two, but I can't shake the feeling that the full and finished product will be pretty much crap.

"Where God Went Wrong", "Some More Of God's Greatest Mistakes" and "Well That About Wraps It Up For God". If no-one else did, Lat, I spotted your Hitch Hiker's reference there, comparing Click to the Babelfish. I also love Ang Lee's Hulk, though my purple pants have not yet arrived so I'm in for some supreme social embarrasment come the next meeting.

Bean, your pants are in the mail. Because they're Hulk pants, we only had them in XXXXXXL, but a good tailor should be able to knock an X or two off them for you.

Why can`t Marvel please the fans? DC/Warner got Bale because people wanted him. They got Whedon for WW because he`s this iconic female TV show icon. Chris Noth for Tony Stark, David Duchovny for Bruce Banner, Aaron Eckhart for Steve Rogers, Clooney for Reed Richards. Is that so hard to do when everybody wants that to happen? Why is it that the magority of fans cast better than the people that run the fucking thing?

Oz does need some genre films....like FX3, with Bryan Brown & Brian Dennehy taking on those evil kiwis & WETA's nefarious plans to take over the world......ok, maybe not......but at least put Vince Gil, Hugh Keays-Byrne & David Field in a film about some pissed-off guys seeking righteous vengeance against some international wankers......

When I saw "Chopper" the first thing I said was "There's Bruce Banner!". You need to get a little pussy of a guy to play him. Eric Bana is just too big.
Hulk was fucking great.

Except for the last 30 minutes or so. The whole thing just went downhill fast once Banner was strapped into that giant electric machine thing with his father. Still, I'd love to see a sequel with Banner wandering the roads like the series, occassionally leaving a trail of destruction and trying to remain uncaught by authorities. A low-key, personal movie. Get the right script and bring back Ang Lee... and ditch the whole comic book art cell thing they did sometimes. That was retarded.
