Where exactly was the COOL NEWS in that post? If I want to hear made-up movie crap, I'll just pay a little more attention to Harry's own posts. I remember when this place used to be informative and entertaining. Now it's neither. For more of HJK's tired nonsense, log on to http://aint-I-a-sell-out.com

de-niro on why he walks like that in the film.

The reason de-niro walks like that is because. I herd somewhare that van-damme was a cameo in the film where he has a kung-fu battle with de-niro and breaks his leg and when de-niro gets up he is in black and white and looks like raging bull and destroys all. i pray this is true. also, joel schumaker is the greatest director since kurbick, and his new film is the best since kubicks swedish film "kombatika bathatico NG!" which was highly regarded a classic kubrick.

Jim Rome, Phantom Penis: What the hell do you classify as Cool News? Give me a break. Not every story can be "Lucas announces Phantom Menace cameo positions available for all AICN readers" -- this is news, and it is COOL. This is not your site. It's Harry's. If you don't like it, go fuck yourself. Hey Harry... I hate to say this, but how bout a poll question on whether or not to keep Talk Back? Because I love the idea of the forums, but I'm really scared that someday you'll be depressed about running the site, and all the negativity from TalkBack assholes will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. And I really hate it when an elite cadre of losers decides they need to devote their worthless lives to ruining things for everyone else.
don't think it can happen?

Guess again, Phantom Penis. I run a website -- nothing huge like AICN, but a humor site that's pretty popular with my friends and at the school I attend. And in my "talkback" equivalent I had some assholes do the exact thing that happens here (pointless insults directed at someone acting generously in just maintaining the site) -- and yeah, that alone wasn't enough to do it... but coupled with my general ennui regarding the site at the time, it was enough for me to shut it down for 6 mos or so. The pleas to change my mind weren't delivered through email, they way Harry received them -- they were face to face, and they still didn't do anything. Like everyone else, I consider myself to not be that thin-skinned, but I threw in the towel (albeit temporarily) for far less abuse than Harry has taken. I just didn't feel like taking it. And I doubt he does. Those who criticize unduly need to shut the fuck up and do something useful with their lives instead of insulting Harry, who's more generous, kind-hearted, and probably all-around BETTER than they are. "Oh come on," you all will say, "that removes ALL quality control from the site! Let's just have a big harry love-fest while we're at it!" Wrong, assholes. If your opinions were worth considering at all, you'd couch them in civil terms. There are steps in between lauding Harry and accusing him of being a fucking sell-out... more productive steps, too, I might point out, than the ones you currently choose to take. Anyway, just take into account what I said. Don't assume that just because Harry is a public figure now, he'll take an unlimited amount of abuse and ask for more. He doesn't deserve that, and he doesn't have to take it. Christ. I'm a freshman in college. Most of you are adults. You shouldn't have to be lectured in manners by an 18 year old. Just cause it's on the computer doesn't mean you have to be a fucking moron -- remember that.
whoops...

Sorry about the crappy spelling and lack-of-hypothetical partway through that last post. I meant "the way Harry would receive them" instead of "they way Harry received them". D'oh. 3am is not my most lucid hour...

WHAT?? Joel making a movie with no little boys in it? How can this be? I thought he always had some to die for male lead. Oh well I guess everything changes sometimes.

Thank you, Harry. Thank you for caring, for being passionate, for being yourself instead of conforming. Thank you for doing what you love, and thank you for making us a part of it. Thank you for being generous and thank you for being forgiving. No, you're not perfect, but there are few of us who could put up with the negativity that you are subjected to without cracking. You will be the first to hear it when I release information about my next film. Thank you. (Sorry about not having anything to say about the supposed subject of this talkback, but I could only read trash from other posters for so long without finally stooping to their level and disregarding the actual subject.)

I think he is one of the best actors out in the marketplace today! It is nice to know that there are some "stars" who do not forget those who helped them get where they are today! HURRAY!!! for Robert DeNiro or DeNero (not sure) as well as all the other poliet personalities that we the public enjoy being entertained by!
Hey, I'm postin' here.
