He was still attached as the director last I heard. Hopefully someone else will be put aboard that and make a great movie, the concept is too fucking good, detectives in a superhero universe.
Wow! Really was. Anyway....

That list of credits was far from inspiring. What About Bob? Jesus, I hold little hope.
And Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Bowfinger and In & Out?

Frank Oz has a pretty good track record all told; I can forgive him Stepford Wives. And Gennedy "Samarai Jack" Tartakovsky was slated to direct "Power of the Dark Crystal" (I assume that was what you were referring to). And... "The Dink"? Do we honestly assume that he appreciates us referring to him like that?
The DaDinkaDink was awesome on...

Life As We Know It. Don't remember that show? I didn't think so, I was the only one that wached it. For a teen drama, it was suprisingly good, if not great.

Frank Oz was at his best on this one. And what a great cast : Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene - i love her ! - and Steve Martin !

And Spielberg totally ripped-off that film's movie-within-a-movie, Chubby Rain, in War Of The Worlds.
Yep, loved Bowfinger

And this also sounds like it could be good (speaking as a Brit). But I'm still waiting for the similarly-themed Undertaking Betty/Plots With A View to find a release over here. I understand that it got a limited release in the States and the trailer was hilarious. Star Trek funerals and Walken dancing? I'm there.
