A Gilmore Girls talkback with a bunch of haters towards the show. Almost tolerable due to the way some supposed FANS of this show have began FREAKING THE FUCK OUT ABOUT EVERYTHING! Who needs fans, that are this demanding? Maybe shit gets fucked up at the end of the season or maybe not. Whatever happens, no reason, to fucking freak out as much as some folks have been freaking the fuck out for weeks now. There's only so much FREAK a brother can stand.
no freak out here...

Would just like to say that I hope that Logan DIES, and Rory gets back with Jess. Not a manner of real life-and-death, but something which keeps me ignoring the pitiful nature of my own life. So there.
Logan does sort of come close to dying...

BUT YOU CANT KILL LOGAN HUNTZBERGER! YOU CAN ONLY FUCK HIM UP A LITTLE BIT! Then, after that, the GOOD STUFF happens. Do you hear the bells? I hear the fucking bells, RINGING THE FUCK, OUT!
I guess this will have to do...

TO THE EXTREME! Sorry. Anytime someone questions someones balls due to a TV show. I have to respond in kind. God forbid that GG gets the love over a show, that features a great actour, in somewhat of a DOMESTIC DRAMA! BALLS? BALLS? I DONT SEE ANY BALLS THERE, TURKEY! Now, Luke Danes, he has balls. He can fucking compartmentilize like nobody's business, and that takes BALLS! Since it apparently drives some of the ladies out their, CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCRAZZYYYYYY!
From a Gilmore Girls fan, this season....

Hasn't been anything like season 5, as these episodes, quality-wise have been pretty much hit and miss. The ones where a fan would say 'meh' have slightly outnumbered the ones where the jaw gets picked up off the floor at how good the actors were. Let's hope this one isn't a 'meh', or in the case of 'A Vineyard Valentine', the worst episode of the past 2 years.

That would be the best way for him to get his injuries. And hopefully they got a guest director for this episode who shot the piping in super slo-mo and hi-res.

think of it as a rich, snobby spoiled brat verison of "Jackass" or "Wildboys"... wait... so they are exactly the same, except the Life and Death Brigade takes showers.
What's up with Paladino's new series?

I had read that Amy Sherman-Paladino had pitched a new series to the then WB, sort of a young Nick and Nora in Manhattan. Is that going forward?

...they've gotten pretty desperate this year with cranking up the soapy who's going to end up with whom stuff. I can't believe how far the quality has fallen in the past 12 months. What's on tap for next season? Rory and Lorelai both getting pregnant and the babies' fathers being a big mystery? Come on, we all know it. This show used to be good but has now gone down the drain. The only question left remaining is how many more seasons it drags on as a zombie.

How would they do much with him when he's in another show on the WB? I love his character, but I'd almost rather have them stop bringing him back if they're not going to keep him around.
KIRK needs his own show.

I'm as gay as JD and Turk...

Did anyone else catch on Scrubs that JD and Turk both watch GG? For extra credit, did anyone else notice that they said Turk's night was a Thursday, which is NOT right? Now, on the to the show. This was a 'meh' episode. Except for Doyle and Paris' unexpected makeup, and Zack and Ms. Kim's writing session, the rest of the episode was just boring. More build up to the angsty season finale. I am liking how they have changed Rory's character so she is less mousy, and is much more witty now, but this season has had too much angst and not enough story. The Gilmore's have relationship problems, we get it already! My predicitions for what's coming up? Logan's brush with death will make him propose to Rory (or even ask her to elope), and Jess will officially step aside (so he can go off to his new series). In fact, I bet that kiss that was in some of the previews gets interrupted with a phone call from Logan's sister. Loreli will finally confront Luke about April, and put him in some situation that he cannot come out of without looking like a jerk (her or the new daughter). Also, after setting up the band's tour a few seasons ago, and helping Zach write a song, I think Ms. Kim may have been a band geek herself. I bet when her mom shows up at Lane's wedding we find out about her real past. OK, something to make me less gay? Um, I think Jess' father's girlfriend was way hotter than Luke's baby's mamma.
Does anyone else notice.....

...that the episodes not written by either of the Palladinos (like tonight's) aren't anywhere near as good as the others? It's become terribly easy for me to tell which episodes are written by other writers. I'm praying that they come back for next season, otherwise I'll be one sad, sad, sad, sad, gay Gilmore Girls fan.

...as he so often does (GREAT TV critic!!): "Few shows this season have done more to stir up fans into a discontented uproar than Gilmore Girls (WB, Tuesday, 8 ET/PT), which returns with a new episode built around Zack's efforts to get permission to marry Lane (Keiko Agena). To judge from a current e-mail campaign, some of the dissatisfaction is a reaction to a possible season-ending twist found on a spoiler website. As we don't believe in spoiling shows, I won't comment on the supposed twist, but I can tell you this: If the producers have decided to take the show in that direction, e-mails aren't likely to dissuade them. The more troubling complaints are from people unhappy with the season as a whole

That Lorelei bones Christopher after Lane's wedding. Not the Logan thing...though I read some chatter about he & Rory getting engaged as well. Both are monsterous "UUUGGGHHHHs", something fans like me have been saying a lot of this year.

I didn't catch that. Maybe JD tapes it for Turk, then Turk watches the tape on Thursdays. That's how they can talk about it right after Turk watches it even though JD is working at the hospital when he calls. Or maybe NBC didn't want to advertise when GG is on since it is on another network. But I am sure it's the first one.
So...I Guess We Can DROP the GG Talkbacks??

FOUR posts after the airing of the first ep. in 6 or so weeks?? Herc..I love the show too, but I think it's clear that AICNers really don't care enough to merit talkbacks. Again, I know it's beloved, but is it any more talkback-meritous than Desp. H-Wives, Gray's Anat, BONES (!!), SUPERNATURAL (!!), The Unit or any other hourlong dramas??? After this season of mediocrity, I think not. The silence is speaking volumes!!

why didn't Scott Foley just steal a boat? He tried to steal a scooter and that would have only gotten him so far. Why try to hook up with drug dealers who have more to gain by turning him in than helping him? And what about the poor dude he framed by planting the gun on and calling attention to? If the police can't catch the guy they are looking for might they not try to save face by convicting this guy instead?
It's not that GG fans don't care...

it's just that this episode didn't have anything talkback worthy. Lane and Zack, we already knew. Rory "forgiving" Logan, no big surprise there. The Nardini's doing something that irked Loreli, seen it. Richard and Emily doing something random, yep. Other than that, what really happened? I thought a fun b-storyline would have been Zack trying to keep the town from telling Ms. Kim about the proposal once he found out she wanted to know first. I could even picture him in a blind panic running around telling people, and then tackling Kirk in mid sentence with Ms. Kim. Wasted opportunity.
