...make Logan go away. Why does Rory always have to paired up with someone? When does she learn she can stand on her own two feet without a man at her side or beneath her? I'd rather see the inevitable "experimenting in college, hey, Paris, you're kinda soft and..." than see Logan, Dean or Jess again.
Nope. You cant get rid of GG Spike!

Lockwood, you must have forgotten most of season four. In which, Rory was by herself, and it led to her shagging Dean. She has been by herself, but Logan is all about showing Rory another side of life. She also shows him a part of life, that guys like him never expect. Love man, it's fucking kooky. Logan and Rory fit together in way no other couple of Rory ever has, and it's enough reason to keep GG Spike on the air. HE's the man now dawgs. Herc continues to give GG much dap. If only the supposed hardcore fans, would treat the show with the same respect.

Why bring up the Presidential address unless talking about Supernatural... THAT is the only new show on DURING the presidential address. Gilmour is on at 8... the address starts at 9... there are alot of new shows on at 8... so if you wanna talk about Gilmore ok... I just dont see what it has to do with the Presidential address at all. You can watch both, as the address starts after Gilmore...

Herc was trolling is all. He knows if he brings up politics, there is a good chance the TB will get flooded and he can justify the TB size as his excuse for a GG TB instead of, for example, a Shield TB.

I hear a helluva lot more people talking about Smallville. I know a helluva lot more people into Smallville too... Smallville gets more attention, even if the ratings might not be as high. In fact if it was a choice, even though Gilmore "does better" I guarantee WB would choose Smallville over it, if it had to be one or the other. Maybe because Gilmores audience is like 90% female... where Smallvilles is pretty even between men, women, young, old. Plus its Sterns favorite show, got that going for it. I just didnt know what tonights episode had to do with the president... All I been reading in TV news today is how Supernatural is the only new program on during that time, that even UPN has a repeat.... so why not talk about that, even if you hate supernatural, just say how THATS the only new show against the debate. Frig Gilmore, American Idol is on.

STATE OF THE UNION TONIGHT!!!!!!!! here's how it'll go: "the union is strong" applause "oil dependency" blah blah blah "tax cuts" blah blah blah applause from the republicans blah blah blah "iran, iran, iraq, 9-11" applause from the republicans wake up Ted Kennedy "spreading freedom" blah blah blah "stay the course" blah, blah, -some under funded social initiative lead by the first lady- blah, blah, blah "alito" zzzzz! bedtime.
Actually, the CW will take both GG and Smallville.
by LordEnigma

Unlike Smallville, GG has been a consistent ratings winner for the WB all year. Smallville kicks the OC's ass on occassion, but it's not GG. Critics across the nation do not want Smallville to get nominated as much as they want GG to receive some much deserved DAP from the TV Academy. The CW, luckily, has GG, Smallville, and VM to build off of next season. Everwood, due to it skewing old, sadly, might end after this season. Hard to be hip and cool with Everwood on your channel.

Wow. How amazing was that whole friday night dinner sequence. EVen the cinematography at the diner table was different from anything we've ever seen on the show. EVery singel problem that family has ever had was because they never talked to each other straight up no bullshit. I'm not saying it will be sunshine and daisies from now on but it was a big step forward in the story.

first let me get say that I am gay for watching this show. second let me say that that episode was fucking awesome- total retraction of the increasingly annoying Lauren Graham. Tonight she was funny again. And the last montage was so good I almost wasn't embarrassed to be watching the show. I had fallen out of watching this show but they just pulled me back in, ala SNL and Lazy Sunday. Lauren Graham plus Alexis Bledel equals crazy delicious.

Let me reiterate what foreignerbelt said, I am also gay for watching this show. The whole 'Luke has a kid' thing seems dangerously close to jumping the shark to me. In this case with everything going on with Luke, I can really see his side of this. Dude just found out he has a kid, and he's got crap to figure out. Lorieli's reaction seems a bit too selfish. So, he hid the daughter from Loreili for a month or so, and how long did she hide her tequilla night with Christopher? He's always been there for her, and he just needs a little time to figure this out. Why the angst? Now the second half was great. Paris' meltdown was inevitable. The staff walkout was great. Then with only ten minutes left, they manage to pull off an arguement to cover years of frustration. Oh and 'Mmm, this is delicious sorbet!' was brilliant. I am so gay.
I'd watch the SOTU...

Let me join the 'gay for this show' chorus -- not that there's anything wrong with that. That last scene was the best 10 minutes this show has ever offered. Being Italian, this is what I'd expect to happen around an Italian dinner table. The writer's name (Palladino) sounds Italian so I'm guessing that she's finally introducing some of her Italian sensibilities into the staid WASP enclaves of Connecticut. Kudos to all the actors for making this scene work as well as it did. Under lesser talents, this could have been a train wreck. Bravo!

Oh, you were talking about politics. I still love the line from several weeks back about some grievance Richard had and how he was going to give his friend Scooter Libby a call to sort it out. "I keep forgetting I know somebody on the inside!" Aside from Alan Alda on West Wing, is Richard Gilmore the most sympathetic Republican character on TV? Gilmore for President! It's like having FDR! And I have yet to hear one good argument against my Governor, Mitt Romney, who proposed we use human waste from abortions for embryonic stem cell research. But, no. Not good enough. Never good enough. The Dems need to have the whole bag. They need to create life to destory life to maybe try and figure out how to preserve life. Maybe. Despite the fact that adult stem cell research has been the only stem cell research to bear any fruit. But go on with your anti-religious bad self! It feels good! And Dems are all about feeling good.
