Fairly standard subject title but I couldn't think fo anything else. Even if his script is balls the showrunners would have polished it up before it hit the screen. Also I hate Cheryl Hines, it is probably that she is the worst thing on Curb and I haven't seen her in anything else, but I hate her.

IDW is running a series of Angel comics now that promise to let fans in on the fate of their favourite non-offed) characters. ---------- And in an attempt to stay on topic, I discovered Scrubs last year, and it's certainly one of my favourite shows on the box. :)

Pilot was made (leaked online a while ago) quite good not outstanding, was not picked up for a series. Was shopped around no other network took a chance, now it is pretty done and dusted.

It's funny because it's true. And if it's been on for a couple of years, the network pimps it to all the awards shows. It gets nominated or even wins, and the general viewing public thinks if it won an award it must be good. They start watching in herds, and the show continues ad nauseum until the actor's contracts come up for renewal for the second time and their demands outweigh their talent. So the show is cancelled, only to start up again the next season with a new cast and slightly altered premise.

A TV pilot for the Global Frequency was made by WB and then leaked on the Net; I'd heartily recommend you find it, get it, and see it. People's reactions have varied from moderate amusement to sharp, painful, yet futile longing for more - it's definitely worth a look, see what you make of it...

#98 was way funnier than Robie's #99, but it had it's moments too. Why was #98 so good? Any time Perry's wife Jordan is there it rocks, and I liked the whole sister thing, plus it was funny about religion without being insulting, but mostly it was the Angry Sex. Oh, and the return of Bajingo. #99 was average Scrubs funny, which is still a hell of a lot funnier than most network crap, but the whole silly/introspective balance was too heavy on the Lesson Of The Week. "Watch out for colon darts" was pretty good, though. And the fruit basket.
I loved #99. Good Work! #98 gave the most shallow view of Christ

But even a weak Scrubs is better than 99% of the other comedies on TV. So not too shabby.

and I love The Office and Earl, but this show is the most miserably mistreated show on network TV since Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared. It is absolutely unique, and just a marvelous example of how to mix a tight comedic plot with absurd abstractia. And to be honest, I love the back-to-back episode technqiue ... I Tivo them and watch them right before Lost on Wednesdays. Perfect counterpoint.
