If you're in the N'Orleans area, there's a screening of Antz on Sept. 29, next Tue at the AMC Galleria. Passes are at the Cultural Concierge Desk, 900 Camp St. No, I won't be going, gotta work, Fluffy

Antz is also playing at the NAC (national arts center)on the 29th as part of the animation festival.

I don't think Antz will be better than A Bug's Life. C'mon for God's sake, it's Disney, the uber-animation company. Antz is also not a totally friendly film for kids. Heck, Woody Allen's character says HELL, the dreaded word of all one-dimensional parents. It has a lot of competition from Holy Man and Practical Magic the week after. Also, Disney still has more money, which means they can wipe any memories of Antz in two seconds. Oh yeah, that song in Toy Story by Randy Newman was great. Well, I'm talking about the one played while Buzz was being played with more than Woody. Anyway, that's how I feel. ---Dave

While I can kind of agree with you on the character design on Scud (he was a damned odd looking dog) he was well animated. He "felt" like a brutish dog. Who was lead on him again? Also, to say that the look of Toy Story was dated disrespects the people at Pixar in a big way. I don't know who you are, but I'll go out on a limb and say that they are better than you ;) All kidding aside, what didn't you like? I do really have to agree with you about Randy Newman... that boy is cheez filled!
