except for Marv (i think thats his name in the movie). that story was mostly ok, but the rest was garbage. and the black and white got old very quickly. occasionally a dash of color here and there. wow. yay. so riveting.

Well seeing how Marv's name is mentioned like 60 times during his story I think its pretty impressive that you were able to think that maybe thats what his name was....."and the black and white got old very quickly. occasionally a dash of color here and there. wow. yay. so riveting.".....seeing how you can't do a simple thing like remember one of the primary characters names, and complain about the black and white, its pretty obvious you have no clue this movie was a direct adaptation from the Sin City comic series. Do the world a favor. Before you start labeling things as shit, at least know a little about the source material and what the movie is about. Otherwise just stick with movies like "2 Fast 2 Furious", "The Pacifier", "I Robot" and "FF4", that way you will feel your money was well spent.

Personally, as a non Sin City connaisseur I was pleasantly surprised by Sin City. I think it works the best if in, say, five years, we've got three movies and about 9 or 10 stories on DVD and watch them all back to back, just like Lord of the Rings should be watched. Sin City is the most entertaining movie released this year so far.

Quite possibly the best film I've seen this year. Either that or Batman Begins. Not the films I'd have predicted considering the best of the year, being a huge fan of both Star Wars and The War Of The Worlds (book, and Jeff Wayne musical, not 50's film, and I've only heard Orson Welles' radio play once a long time ago). While I loved ROTS and WOTW, Batman was a better film overall than either, and Sin City blew me away. Now it's time to not go to see FF4.
