$20 per DVD /w 4 eps per disc. $1020 for all 51 episodes. There is no reason these discs shouln't be dual layer with up to eight eps per disk. Via la torrent.

I rememver liking it but then watched some on VOD and it looked like it had been drawn on table napkins by a five year old. Compared to modern high quality anime it was laughably bad. I guess it is old, predates CG assist and mosnter TVs. Whatever the reason it looks AWFUL on a 92" projection.

I remember the original robotech very fondly. Got me into Japanese animation and turned me into a true otaku. Glad to see that they are finally going to continue their story. Mark Hamill in it as well. Awesome. I hope it stays 'adult', well as much as possible. Good news.
How'd you get $1020?

51 episodes / 4 per disc = 13 discs. $20 / disc * 13 discs = $260. Wha'd'd I miss?

As long as it's original animation, doesn't try to do "Sentinels" again, and is better than the ripping apart of Megazone 23 that was "Robotech: the Movie," I'll be interested...
