"...the martial arts fighting between Elektra and her adversaries is unintelligibly shot and choreographed. Adding insult to injury are some of the phoniest CGI effects to be found in a big-budget motion picture in who knows how long. A fight scene in a room filled with floating white sheets might have garnered some technical beauty if not for the fact that it never appears as if there were real sheets being used during filming. Other action moments involving wolf and snake tattoos that rip off of Tattoo's body and attack--a neat idea, in theory--are just as squandered because the effects do not look believable. Because of this, there is no detectable threat to pull in the viewer and involve them." www.themovieboy.com

I liked the Punisher, but I thought it could be alot better. first...I didn't care for his being in FL...should have been in New York...YES New York...Joan was too hot...she should have been plain. and I think it was more about Revenge...I think there should have been more about killing...droping money out teh window??? WTF?

Not the punisher. It may have been rated-R but it was made for 15 year olds.

About that first 5 minutes on yahoo: It sucked! Plain and simple. I hate it when the bad guy is babbling way too long about how potent, skilled and dangerous the 'hero'is. The character 'Elektra'doesn't need this as she is just plain badass and not COOL. The slomo shot of her in the end of the clip is screaming Playboy. Technically, it looked like a mediocre tv sitcom. The camaerawork was plain, the editing ineffective. For a similar opening just watch Leon. That scene is infinately better. Elektra will fuzz out at the box office quickly. Really.
Please....

Given that no one has ever seen tattoos spring to life on someone's body, nor ever will, what is this mope's reference in calling the effects "unbelievable." What would "believable" be?
