This is an awesome trailer, like one big inside joke, those who've seen it know what i'm talking about.
Great use of the Carpenters by way of Sonic Youth.

I always that that version was so frikkin' eerie. Let me guess... not in the movie? Anyway, the trailer looks good. Cute dykes, creepy dude and an axe. I'm there.
Wasn't this going by "Switchblade Romance" for awhile?

What is that great sounding song in the trailer? Is it Sonic Youth? Great trailer by the way.
El Gordo, the song is a cover of the Carpenters' "Superstar" by

I'm willing to forgive some leaps in logic, but the ones in this pretentious chaff would put strain on an Olympic high-jumper. Though there is one very cool murder in it, so it ain't all bad.
Is this sonic Youth song on any of their albums?

This director is going to be hot, the film is the best looking slasher flick ever made. The trailer for the american release looks a lot better than the european trailer did.

Sawt this a few weeke ago on DVD. Stylish. Violent. Gory. Well shot. But not much to it. I thought it would be much more intense. It was kind of boring. And the twist makes NO sense. And I am not a guy who tries to poke holes in things. I will always suspend my disbelief if the movie is even half way entertaining. This one failed the litmus test. Spoiler ahead. So stop reading if you havent seen it. I mean come on...if she was therein the house...where'd the fucking truck come from? Like earlier you see the head fall out of the truck...but wasn't she with the girl in the house meeting the family. Lame.

You might as well root for the White Sox too, they haven't won since 1917
Bullshit. The ending makes perfect sense.

Awesome, awesome movie. The best pure slasher since HALLOWEEN.

no, it is not an adaptation of dean koontz's "intensity," though more than a few viewers have noted the similarities. yes, the move was originally titled "switchblade romance." and yes, the ending is a real kick in the fucking groin (and no, not one of those good kicks in the groin, if there is such a thing). you can bet the u.s. version of this movie will have A LOT of the violence trimmed down, so you might want to try and get your hands on the original version of the movie. it's pretty easy to find in cyberspace if you know where to look. also, i've heard wes craven handpicked the director to helm the remake of "the hills have eyes."
Why use a Sonic Youth song on the trailer...

...When they have that fucking phenomenal Muse song 'New Born' in the film itself.
