Yes, we are more concerned with collecting the Pokemon cards, where such cards as Idiotmon, Turdforbrainsmon and textspeakingretardomonkeymanmo n are the hardest and wickedest things to find. Jesus, the reason guns are hard to find has something to do with the gun laws. Try poking your head out from your movie adled existence and educate yourself.

Obviously Bernal is talented, and he services Salles' interpretation of Guevara decently enough in Diaries. Unfortunately Salles and whoever contributed to the script focus almost solely on Guevara's empathy and sensitivity, and largely ignore the egotistical penchant for defiance that is obvious when reading about his youth. Benicio Del Toro has that air of mischievousness that was obvious in the real Guevara and disappointinly absent in Motorcycle Diaries.

What? if anything there are more guns in the country, oh and the film was set in a small town, hardly 'deep country' whatever the f**k that is. BTW if there are no guns in the 'deep country' hwy did Gary stretch's character have a hunting rifle? Great film though. Though nobody seems to have mentioned the great use of sound effects and music throughout the film.

Saw it Sunday night at UGC in Sheffield, England... I've seen about 150 films so far this year and this is a masterpiece. Considine deserves an oscar, not just for his acting but for his co-writing of the screenplay (with SHane Meadows). 'Dead Man's Shoes' puts Meadows into the Scorcese league. One of the most violent films of all-time but all the better for it. Just wait for the bit with 'the kettle' and a rather full suitcase. The greatest low-budget film ever. 10/10.
