I didn't even bother reading this as it just seemed to be a desciption of events rather than a review. I DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN FILMS, just whether they are worth seeing or not. Jeez, I'm glad this doofus didn't "review" The Village.

That free SAW-Trailer DVD that came with The Punisher basically was the same thing this reviewer told already.

Regardless, I'm betting I did guess the "surprise" correctly in another thread. And if that guess is right, it will be quite a cliched "twist".

Doesn't, when you look at the cast and the poster, etc., it seem obvious who the killer in this thing is? I mean, it's like the Ewan Macgregor/Nick Nolte flick "Nightwatch". I just looks so obvious. Anyone agree?

remind me again, who put the gun to your head and demanded you read the synopsis? the fact that quint clearly stated the spoiler warning in his summary aside... why in the hell would you come to this site if you weren't looking for spoilers of some type? every news item here is spoiler related at some level. whether it's the rumored han/greedo/leia threesome in lucas' 12th reshoot of star wars or someone posting the entire damn script of indy 4. to be honest, i think harry and the gang should abondon the warnings altogether.

We could all draw comparisons to recent cat and mouse killer movies (not to mention "Seven"). But the edge this movie has over most of those movies and pretty much every horror movie these days is that it's actually scaring people. I'll probably never see it because I won't be able to sleep for 3 days, so I appreciate the thorough review.
Don't get your hopes up

Since no one listened to me yesterday, I'll say it again. This movie is vastly overrated. Danny Glover is the most worthless cop this side of Chief Wiggums. Cary Elwes is laughably bad. And the scary/gross parts all feel lifted from Seven. The only difference is that in Seven, there was a reason for the way he was torturing people. Even the big twist at the end is a total cop-out. The only reason I liked it at all is because I saw it at a midnight screening with a bunch of drunk/high people who enjoyed laughing at things that were never meant to be funny.

Something tells me that after taking in just about ANY movie, most normal people aren't really thinking about the Talkbackers and what they said about the movie...

It was a figure of speech. I didn't really expect you to be thinking about me and my analysis when you walk out of the theater. Who knows? You might love it. In fact, I hope you do. Because you know what, I do think about you. And I genuinely care what you think.

It is as if the reviewer wants to prove that he really saw the movie. Freaking write a REVIEW not a recap.

"There's a difference between a review and just telling us the entire movie. How about a SPOILER warning???" **** Well, let's see... Quint put this in his intro: "If you don't want to know how 98% of the movie unfolds, don't read the below review. Super spoilers below." If that's not a spoiler warning, I don't know what is, you spectacular idiot.
