as I've already said before, no matter how much you like or dislike this movie,it's just something you've never seen before. If you plan to see it (you'd better!), as jan kounen told us when I saw Blueberry at a premiere: Bon voyage...

sounds and visions of cowboys and indians.an amazing bunch of actors from all over the world.beautiful scenery, and a director who knows how to make the most of it.based on a comic by the master of the art,and with his participation and blessing.how can this not be great?i would not trust the negative reviews...i bet its just the unusual way of telling a story that has gotten some foursided_ people confused.its possible that the balance is leaning a bit too much to the mystic side of the story.thats easy to do when you have just been awakened by a shamanic experience,as the creator, the director and the main actor has.takes a while for your feet to get back down to the ground again.but for those who are awakened, not only do we get a unique take at a spagetti-western movie, but a shamanic experience on top of it.

Despite the bad critics in Switzerland's newspapers, I wanna see the movie. However, the only released the French Dubbed version, so I am avoiding it at all costs and wait for the DVD release.

1000films.com had a couple links to a trailer. Try the official one, it works. Film looks a lot more like a movie than i imagined from the previous reviews. The CG hallucination stuff isn't working for me- I'd prefer more of an anaolgue feeling.

I say this without pause. I don't say this in a talkback, from-the-cuff sort of way. I don't say this in a Yahoo user review tagline sort of way. I believe DEAD MAN was the worse experience I had in a movie theater. Torture! I never walk out of a movie, so I endured every pointless minute. The memory of that experience haunts me until this day. I would like to point out that I do like Jim Jarmusch but just because he's made some interesting flicks doesn't make DEAD MAN any less of a pretenious pile of pulsating shit. Anyone who say DEAD MAN is good, or even watchable, is just trying to show off and prove how movie-geek savvy they are. I still haven't seen a movie worse than DEAD MAN, after all these years. Every other piece of crap is just a trail that leads to the stinking wade that is DEAD MAN. Shame on all who made it and double shame on all who praise it.
