Comment: ...because I'm assuming they will have some scenes, with, you know, actors n' stuff and it won't be one long special effects reel, since WETA does special effects for movie studios; it is not a movie studio in and of itself. Still, even if it was one long CG special effects reel with no plot or acting or anything else, I think I would like it better than the second half of END OF EVANGELION, which wasn't remotely the mindphuk I was led to believe it was.

Peter Jackson. Think about it. He knows psycological impact. He knows how to make unbalanced charactors compelling. He knows gore. He knows how to make kick ass fight sceans. He knows caous. He knows how to use epicness. He knows how to make a scean feel lyrical. He knows how to adapt obsure sorce materal. Has close ties to WETA. . . Been wanting to start my anime collection but the prices really scare me off. Then I find out all those cheapsets on ebay.com are bootlegs. I don't want to pay bootleggers for this stuff.... man, I'm torn. Well, anyway. Any word on when Gundam Zeta is coming out? I keep hearing its the best Gundam series, but don't know much about it.

You should come to japan. The Japanese are becoming cheaper and cheaper everyday, and used stores are popping up everywhere, and there are stores full of Manga everywhere for about 100 yen each ( a dollar). Mind you, the shops are full of dorks who can barely keep from jacking off at the comic girls right there in the store. Kind of scary.

Otaku = Fan. not Otaku = Anime Fan. Otaku simply means a fan of such a level, they make Trekkies jealous. CAlling someone an Otaku of Anime can be an insult in Japan. But, in the states, we tend to butcher meanings and have associated Otaku with Benign Anime Fan. You don't know otaku... You Wouldn't like Otaku. I've seen one or two, trust me. After that, you WANT to hang around the klingon wannabes. Otaku scare even me. I'm ashamed I called my site the Neo Otaku Nation back in the day. I'm an Anime fan, but I'm NO OTAKU. Try and otakunize me, BIATCH!
