Joey & Rachel

Who did not see this coming??? Now they never can put Ross and Rachel together. I don't think I even want them together anymore. It would have been nice to see them together for a little bit after Emma was born. Speaking of Emma, why do they act like she doesn't exist!!!

does absolutely nothing for this hetero, she just seems like such a fake hollywood bitch that I'd have to slap her five minutes into the conversation....Lisa Kudrow, now theres a celeb that needs six kinds of rimming....you know? So does the Brit Doc on ER, yeah...

is Wyle, not Wylie. As I read more and more of Herc's reviews, I'm starting to realize he's not so good at catching details and nuances, whether they're part of the credits or the plot.
What, no mention of Will & Grace?

While I admit that the show has grown rather shrill over the past two seasons, tonight's ep had Minnie Driver (in a short, slinky dress. Mrrrowrrr) dropping stolen goods out of her vagina! I'm amazed what this show gets away with sometimes... Oh, and Joey + Rachel = me staying with the show for it's last(?) season. Ever since they first moved in together, they've provided more comic chemistry than Aniston ever did with the increasingly obnoxious Schwimmer. And did anyone else think that Courtney Cox looked pretty damn hot with her hair like that? Curls, girls! Straight hair makes all three of them look plain as hell. Bring back "The Rachel"! At least the early seasons on DVD still provide plenty of belly-laughs. "Maybe if I weren't goin' COMMANDO..."

Awesome, absolutely fabulous!! It's about damn time that they put Rachel and Joey together. And if you just watched tonights episode, you would obviously see how much chemistry they have. They just click, which never happened with her and Ross. That whole relationship just got on my nerves and when I thought they were going to put them back together again, I cringed. Joey and Rachel...looks like next season will be the best one yet!!
Why a U.S. "Coupling" series won't work

(1)The BBC series had a level of raunchiness impossible on US network television - watered-down stuff will make the whole thing seem like a "Friends" clone. (2)Comedy fatigue at the 9:30 start time means people will think potty-break time for that half-hour.-- it should be on at 9pm with "Will & Grace" backing it up at 9:30 for lead-after. (3) Three of the six cast regulars got replaced after the pilot - - if that's a poker hand, you'd fold. (4) No Sarah Alexander - are they insane? (5) Remember when John Larroquette did a US version of "Fawlty Towers?" ("Payne") - No? That's probably the best reason why this won't last - it just doesn't translate if you don't keep it British. You heard it here first.

Too Predictable

I'm a die hard friends fan (also Buffy, Alias, 24, just too balance it out) and I think Friends is one of the most genius shows ever to exist, but this whole Ross/Rachel/Joey thing has me dry heaving everytime I think of it. The cast needs to make up their minds once and for all whether they're coming back for another season after the coming one because they are killing the show when they set up storylines thinking its the end of the show then mix everything up again when there is a last minute decision to do one more season. I know their intentions WERE to end off with Ross & Rachel together but they kept splitting them up when they renewed for another season. R&R have a baby together, then Joey gets in between them (twice), R&R move in together then now Rachel likes Joey. The season finale was 100% predictable from the word go. This is my fav show of all time but theyre screwing it up to milk more millions out of it.

I don't even care if Ross & Rachel get together anymore, it's lost all its effect and magnitude...it doesn't even matter anymore.
WHAT HAPPENED?! I missed the last couple minutes of FRIENDS...

...due to a VCR programming schedule conflict. What happened after Charlie (the black chick-that's her name, right?) pulled Ross away from the gay married guy? My VCR switched over to record CSI and I missed the last couple minutes. Someone help me out here? THanks.

Yeah, Darth, you're right. US versions of British shows NEVER work. Remember "All In the Family," and "Sanford and Son?" They didn't work.

Charlie pulled Ross away from him and they started making out. They stopped because Ross said he couldn't do that to Joey (much like Joey said to Rachel about not doing that to Ross) but then Ross just went for it. Joey saw, went to Rachel's room, kissed her and went in. Door closed, cue executive producer credits.

Or maybe I missed what a ratings bonanza Fox's US remake of "Holding the Baby" was? Is "Dawson's Creek" a thinly-veiled retelling of "EastEnders?" Perhaps "Blue Peter" somehow translated as "Blue's Clues?"
Ross isn't Rachel's lobster anymore

I can't think of any way she would even wants Ross in her life since he keeps dating other women while they have this baby between them. The fact that she didn't want him after they got drunk and got married proved that. I think the only way Rachel would want Ross back is if he suddenly leaves and apparently never comes back. If Rachel doesn't care, then this love story was never real...not even from that first kiss that got a lof of fans excited in season two. And who do we blame for that...but the writers. They could go the "Anne of Green Gables" route where he could get scarlet fever and she runs to his side, thinking he'll die--but I don't think they'd go that far.

Am I the only one who would like to see this spin off into it's own series? I was riveted to that ER. Plus I could totally see Goran Visnjic carry his own series.
I like that idea...

A Luka spin-off. I could really enjoy that. I adore Goran Visnjic, he's sadly underused on that show and is the only reason I watch anymore. I think the rubber gloves get more screen time.

First of all, one of you did mention that no one died. Second of all, someone did. Det. Lockwood, who for the life of me I can't even place, was the one killed at the beginning - i.e. before my VCR switched over and started taping. Whatever.
