You fucks don't even care about anime, as most people who post on this site! Anyone with any brains would be get Spirited Away, Laputa (hey what's that) or Witches Delivery Service( the real title of that film. Just once I love it if someone is sincere about animation from Japan, instead of being a total idiot on caring about being first! Sadamoto-san is a character designer for Gainax by the way.

But those girls on thongs are hot! I saw their faces and most of them look like trailer park girls. About anime, yes it's fun but I find myself thinking if it is worth buying a $35 DVD for an 82 min animated movie. I still haven't seen Spirited Away but I will soon. By the way, did you know that if you leave a space between the "a" and the "p" in Laputa it says "La puta" which means "The whore" in Spanish. Useless piece of information? Yeah, but nevertheless it makes you think if you should call the movie "The whore: Castle in the Sky"! Wasn't this a comic book in the early 90s?

That's what I've read from a couple of sources. I hope one of those featurettes profiles the voice work done by the english crew. I was hoping for a commentary with the bunch of them. Would have been great listening to Jet, Spike, and Faye talk about their work on the series. Of course they probably sound nothing like them in real life. Still, I think it would have been cool. Since none of the theatres in my backwards Walmart infested excuse for a state are showing this flick, I'll be grabbing this baby the day it's released. Well, grabbing it from my mailbox that is.
Ah hell...

I've recently traded in my 6-disk set for the 3 desk set. There's no difference 'cept for the lack of extras. Each DVD has a extra and one of the discs has an egg. It's the exact same thing, but different. I've had the Trigun special edition 3 disk thingie for a while and now all my bandwagon friends are collecting the DVD's 1 by 1. Trust me, the 3 disks are official, they're shiney, they just come with less extras. Well the Trigun regular dvds don't come with any extras anyway.

That 3 Disk se is a bootleg if you don't beleive me contact Bandai and they will tell you thast they have never released a 3 disk Bebop set. That set is from Hong Kong which has no pirating laws when it comes to DVD's and VHS. The reason it looks just like the officially released DVD's is because they ripped them, which is why they have the english and japanese language tracks. I know first hand I bought one of a guy at a used video game store for $10 then emailed Bandai about it they confirmed it was a bootleg. I work at several cons and run one of the oldest anime clubs in the country so I know a few people in the industry. If you don't believe me you can contact Cindy Keirstead at Bandai she runs their fan support program and she'll tell you their bootleg.

The animation was beautiful, but the story and dialogue were pretty insipid. Maybe I was just disappointed because I snuck into it immediately after watching IRREVERSIBLE, which was fucking incredible!
