SUNDANCE, SLAMDANCE, TROMADANCE - Cue music and Let's All Join In!!! THE SNELL SHOW + an Appeal from me to Fest Folks
Hey folks, Harry here... Well off in far of Park City, Utah... Not only is it cold, but there's an army of black leather jackets and cel phones. That's right, Hollywood has invaded that quiet mountain town again, and they may very well kill a Kenny or two while they're there. But more likely... Dozens and Hundreds of features, shorts and pitches will be on display. You'd be seeing stars, critics and agents galore all looking for the next ignited ball of gas up in the sky. That's right... A STAR! One on the way up in fact, not the falling kind.
Now, I thought this year that Moriarty was going to be heading up to Park City, Utah, but the freak went and headed to Georgia instead. Something about new fangled technologies and a few garbled words about "...'puters". Whatever he was mumbling 'bout, I could make neither hide nor tail out of the tick bloated carcass of dialogue the evil one vomited forth... But what I did realize was... HE WASN'T GOING TO BE IN PARK CITY for the plethora of films and delights that the frozen crags would give light to.
Which means, if you folks are in Park City or Salt Lake City or anywhere in Utah that is showing films as part of Sundance, Tromadance, Slamdance, Lapdance or ZombieDance... well... shucks, I need your coverage so we can tell the world what's looking good that's coming out of Utah and spreading cross the world to the delight of us all... Or to warn us what to avoid lest diarrhea sets in.
For example, one spy, by the name of William Wallace gave me the heads up that at TheSnellShow.Com there was a short film, in its complete beginning to end credit glory for display. This short is getting its premiere as part of SLAMDANCE sometime soon and personally... This film's illustration on the recreational use of Nuclear Weapons... Well, it was just heartwarming. Made me want to pack up a folding chair and head to Iraq or Korea. Man, I tell ya... This film may fill it with 50's iconography, but we're surely beginning to play tag with the atom again if we continue to head in the direction we're going... Really thought we'd grown past that... Oh well, sure hope Klaatu gets here soon.
Remember folks, send your SUNDANCE, SLAMDANCE, BREAKDANCE, HULADANCE and what not reviews to
