Yes, finally my home country gets some more attention. Haha. Just saw Minority Report yesterday with some interesting swedish language scenes in it. I hope they make "the swedish job" right though. It's so easy for them to just have polar bears walk the streets and big breasted bikini wearing blondes everywhere, but thats not how life is in sweden. For those of you who actually think polar bears walk the streets of sweden I can just tell you that the only place where you will be able to see a polar bear is in a zoo. And as for the blondes....well, I think there are more big breasted bikini wearing blondes in USA than in Sweden. What I mean is please don't build the movie on how you think Sweden is, Do it as it is, do it right. Actually sweden isn't all that exciting. But I hope "The Swedish job" will be a good movie. It's also cool that some of the more talented swedish-only actors will join the cast and not just Peter Stormare, Stellan Skarsg

I don't disagree with the review; it is a very spooky film and an impressive debut. I am a little curious about the timing though. I've had it on DVD for over a year.
Ted Nasmith? Cool! He's got another exhibition coming up, too.

You won't be disappointed. The movie feels like "Heathers" crossed with an early Terry Gilliam movie, i.e. weird and 80's in a very good way. There are plot holes and a miscast Drew Barrymore, otherwise it's a wonderful flick. "I find it kinda funny / I find it kinda sad / The dreams where I'm dying / are the best I've ever had."

It is clearly my film of the year and I only wish I could watch it again without knowing anything about it. I am still thinking about it, it is that good. See it, if you havent.

Does anyone know where I can get the version of Ave Maria that they play several times in the movie. I think it's in the cinema and also in the end credits. It's incredibly beautiful but I can't find it anywhere. I bought the soundtrack but it wasn't there. And I've searched the recordstores for ave maria but there are like one million different versions of it. So please, does anyone know?
