Spike and Ethan

Good to see Marsters getting more work, I know he's in a movie or two coming up, but what else does he have beside this and Buffy? Ethan Embry will be a good Electro, I never thought about it but he seems to be perfect. He's a good guy, should get more good work. So fuck first posters. Also, Wyld Stallyns Rule!
at least the guest voices are good...

I have a feeling MTV will do to spiderman what it does to any show that enters it's airplay, destroy and commercialize it. I have a real hard time taking anything they put out seriously. They just jumped on the spiderman bandwagon, they don't care about it. soon as ratings aren't high enough for them they'll replace it with Real World marathons or TRL repeats. makes me sick.

Chance is an indie (Although I hate to use that term) written, directed, produced, starring (did she run the food services dept too??) Amber Benson. Unless something changed I haven't heard yet, it is still looking for a distributor. James has the male lead. Check it out, supposed to be a good flick.
Duncan as Kingpin

Just wondering if MTV will make Kingpin black, since Duncan is doing it (ala Daredevil), or will he be keepin' his old pale skin hue from the comics? Not that it matters to me from an ethnic standpoint, but a lot of voice actors do characters with a variety of ethnic backgrounds, such as Mad TV's Phil LaMarr, who does not only Hermes on Futurama and the John Stewart Green Lantern on Justice League, but also Jack from Samurai Jack, and about a hundred other characters.

I didn't want him to be bad in The Whole Nine Yards, and between the heavy make-up and bad script his role in Planet of the Apes didn't give him much to work with. Normally he comes off as such a lovable teddy bear of a guy, it'll be interesting to see what he does with a real villain role. And playing it twice makes it even more interesting. The King Pin has sounded like Roscoe Lee Browne in my head since the '90s version(another brilliant black actor performing the part BTW, although they made him white in the toon). Here's hoping Michael makes it his own. I hope they don't kill him in Daredevil, King Pin's gotta appear in a Spider-Man film eventually.

MTV hasn't made a decent cartoon since Oddities (and no, Brother's Grunt doesn't count, it was horrible). Fucking teenybopper bullshit.

Bad CGI Spidey? Great, Just What We Need

The form is TOTALLY wrong for a classic char like Spidey -- this Canadian outfit can't make anything WITHOUT shiny chrome and hard surfaces -- but Hell, Marvel doesn't care as long as Viacom's check doesn't bounce. This mess is gonna seem SO dated in just a few years.

Bruce Campbell!

What about Bruce Campbell for Spidey/MTV? His "narration" in the Spider-Man Movie videogame is awesome. I hadn't read that he had done it and I was pleasantly surprised when I popped in the game in my newfangled game system straight from "The Beast of Redmond" (i.e., the Xbox)... Good going, Bruce! What was really funny was you had the voices of both Tobey McGuire and Willem Dafoe in the game, but the lesser characters didn't have the same actors voicing them from the film...what a trip...
Ya Know..

In My personal opinion.. I think the originals from the movie should do the voicing. But I guess that wouldn't be possible since they all have actual careers. But .. I reckon (yes, I'm a southerner) the people chosen are oaky. But, I think it sucks that it took the making of the movie to make a new series. And of all places to put it.... MTV... teeny-bopper capital of the world. Man, what a waste of a great story man. And cgi.. it's the movie all over again... and you know how the majority of the people who saw the movie hated it. Take it from me folk....(noooo there shouldn't be an 's'... folk is already plural) This new series REALLY SHOULD BE ANIMATED!!! But that's just my stupid point of view. Peace & Hairgrease, Marielle :)

Herc is abusing his power at AICN. It's obvious that Emily is a friend, relative, or some such associate. She's put together her very own Web site (woo-hoo), and Herc is using the AICN forum to drive traffic to her site, free and clear. Herc, you should be ashamed.
