Is Eva Death & Rebirth worth getting for the extras?

Has anyone picked it up? I've got the series and a fansub copy of End of Eva. (and will certainly get that when it officially comes out) Do the extras on the D&R disc make it worth picking up, even though the "movie" is really just an extended advertisement for End of Eva?

The DVD features on of the better anime extra packages. The commentary track was fun, nice online encrylopedia, and interest run time links to further information.

Manga's Death and Rebirth is the same as the Japanese version. Death and Rebirth, and End of Evangelion contain two new episodes to replace the last two of the TV series. The first half of death and rebirth is the is a recap of the TV series with new transition sense, and some re-animated footage. The second half of Death and Rebirth is the first new episode. The first half of End of Evangelion is the first new episode again. The second half of End is the second new episode. There is an overlap of the episode.

Some of the confusion with the overlapped episode may be that it gets renamed. Its called "Rebirth" in Death and Rebirth, then "Air" in End of Evangelion, with the last new episode entitled "Yours Sincerly"

I believe that the first non-convention showing of Bebop movie is in the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood in August. The first showing of the dub prints will be in New York in Big Apple Festival later in August or September. I sincerly hope that they can book a semi-wide to wide release of the movie in October (the story took place just before Halloween).
Finally, we get Saint Seiya.

Well, its about GODDAMN FUCKING TIME. It's been showned in almost every country but the USA. Even Mexico got it like eight years ago. And to think, Mexico finally one uped the USA. That should hold them over till the next World Cup.

It's been a couple years since I've seen the Japanese versions of the movies, but I don't remember noticing any differences the first time. It is possible that there was some differences, but if they are any, they are subtle. It is certainly within the realm of possibility that they reanimated some pieces, it would be par for the course for Gainax/the Eva people. Its also possible that of the confusion is from Revival of Evangelion, yet another edit of the movies.

I'm going to be in New York in August, but I have to leave before the 31st to start college. Now I won't be able to see the wonderful Ms. Kanno and Mr. Watanabe. Drat......
