As for Goku (i haven't been living under a rock so i do know a little about the show), when you're dealing with such a well loved character, you should go for an unknown, it's common sense. You should see him on screen and say "yeah that's Goku" not "oh that's ........... playing Goku".

But frankly, I don't want to see ANY of those actors playing Goku. Wouldn't it be better if they just tracked down some "Talented Unknown Who's Only Appeared In Movies From Argentina"? Or at least something similar? None of those guys really strikes me as Goku at all.

At least some people like me were smart to cast obvious choices to play Son Goku. Personally I would love to see Jet Li as Vegeta, he's made for the part(I.E. Lethal Weapon IV, his villian side in the One).

Ok i saw this online and it was a strong rumor going around that it was made by FOX themselves but there are just some things about this sopposed DBZ movie poster that look fanmade. If you want take a look see and give me your opinions. I think its fan made becuase its not sopposed to be called DBZ its only going to be titled dragonball. Not to mention the fox logo does look pretty big on this poster. Oh and Piccolo is that big green guy. As for the saiyans, I think they should be played by unknown actors but I do think goku should be played by Jet Li and Vegeta could be played by Chau Yun Fat.

DBZ is an anime an shuld stay that way, i dont see how u can make it into a live action film an make it look as good an stylish as the cartoon, it seems that Fox has seen another way jus to make more money an start the merchendise wheel rollin.
