I love this show. Too bad it doesn't get much respect among SF fans. If Smallville gets as good as Ros gets I will be supprised

What a disappointing finale.. they wrapped everything up so conviently in a nice little package.. and Max and Liz getting married?? what a shocker that was... That was the death of the series.. the constant concessions they made to please the whole Liz/Max crowd.. geez if they'd just get over that whole thing they might have been able to write better storylines.. But everything was messed up just to keep them together.. They shoulda just left Roswell in the grave after season 2.. instead of keeping it on life support.. And fer all those Roswell fans out there that are gonna get pissed by me saying this.. I'm just gonna tell em to admit to themselves that Roswell died a long time ago.. I watched Roswell too.. every episode.. and if you say that nothing could top Roswell season 1, I'd agree.. but after that.. it was pretty much all downhill..

TONIGHT WAS THE LAST ROSWELL EVER I FOR ONE AM HEARTBROKEN BECAUSE IT SAID GOOD-BYE BUT IT WAS A #1 ENDING. MAX AND LIZ GOT MARRIED:)THE EPISODE ALSO HAD A LITTLE FROM EACH SEASON MIXED INTO THE STORY LINE WHICH WAS GREAT. NOW THE 6 OF THEM ARE TOGETHER AND THEY WILL NEVER BE APART. QUESTION BEFORE I CLOSE ARE THE FBI GOING TO FIND THEM? MAYBE THE WRITERS CAN START WITH THAT TOPIC WHEN THEY DECIDED TO HAVE A SEASON 4
I always wonder with shows like this...

Why not split the 1 hour eps into 2 hours for syndication and then have enough for a synd run?

Was it wrapped up too neatly? Perhaps, but they had to come to some sort of conclusion, and IMO they did a good job of it. I liked the 6 of them heading off on thier own. I liked Max and Liz getting married. The goodbye scenes were sad. It was all sad. There's gonna be one less hour of TV watching next year for me.

Sad but this show could never seem to make up its mind wether it wanted to be a Sci Fi show or a Dawsons Creek kinda show. I liked last season and then it did an about face again. They were trying to please too many audiences and I think thats why it failed. I also found it hard to believe that the Lawyer dude just lets his wife go on without him.

Roswell, well what can I say except that it was the best dam show I had ever seen(well, until season 3, but whatever). I will truly miss the goodtimes when I would watch Roswell on tv and not feel like I was actually wasting my life away in front of the tube. Thankyou to the cast for being so talented and thankyou Mr. Jason Katims for bringing something extraordinary to life to love. Thankyou true Roswell fans for sticking with the show through the good times and the bad. This show did not end, it will keep living on through the fans who loved Roswell. LONG LIVE ROSWELL!

When the last ever Smallville is aired, I'm sure it'll get a talkback. Not long to wait there then, Smallville fans... that Salad is well past its sell by date. As for the Roswell Burrito, well it was nice that it was there, but I doubt anyone will miss it for long after its gone. But the Buffy Brunch, whilst maybe needing a little improvement (onions?), it's still a fine culinary delight. Mmmm....

Why do you keep saying it is like Dawson's Creek when you have BARELY watched the show. Smallville is similar to Ros but I don't hear many people calling it a Dawson's Creek clone. Some thing that people will forget Ros once it goes off the air. They need to go over to FanForums. That will dispell any notions that Ros. Will be popular after it goes.....

A sad watch. I'll miss this show. While the writing was awful, the characters and acting were excellent across the board. Bye, Roswell. Here's hoping we get to see all the actors again elsewhere, especially the talented and lovely ladies.
Finale a Big Dud on a Galactic Scale

OK, I haven't watched a lot of this show, just the occasional episode and following the story in the boards - seems more interesting on paper than in the series. ------------------ But I watched the last few episodes, and what a cop out. Let's see, how convenient, "I'm giving up my birthright, and I'm just going to stay here on Earth." ------------------ How convenient. Well, its stayed true to the Earth-rooted, hyper-slow series (made the lethargic X-Files seem like the Terminator), so I'll say that for it. It avoided the whole, "I'm leaving Earth now to fight for my rightful place, so here goes it..." ------------------- But for the viewer, it basically threw aside the whole premise and background for the show, the birthright and all that went with it, and says to the viewer, "Uhh, sorry, but that whole thing was..., well, if you don't mind..., nevermind. Sorry for the inconvenience, but that's all off." Like the bride left at the alter explaining to the guests that the wedding is cancelled. ------------------- So, after seeing the aliens say, "uh, nevermind," and leave for Podunk, Oregon, to make roots in an Earthly fashion, all I can say to myself is, "Sure glad I didn't invest a lot of time in this what turned out to be Max's Creek."

Damn, that last hour was the greatest entertainment all season long!!! I thought there would at least be a talkback for this. They surpassed last season. It was better than any Survivor since the original finale. If you missed it you missed a full 30 minutes of non stop nail biting tension. Absolutely Fantastic!!!! Can't wait until next Fall. Herc old chum this finale was incredible! It deserves a place of honor. Now back to our regularly scheduled program...
GOD DAMNED WXSP, aka LOUSY PIECE OF SHIT WEST MICHIGAN UPN AFFIL

Every God Damned time, every single time. Once again the ignorant BASTARDS who run the UPN aff. for W MI, WXSP, goes and totally FUCKS my viewing up. They just have to go and replace quality shows, with 2+ hours of a bunch of overpaid Neanderthals playing basketball, and then the network doesn't even bother to let the viewers of Buffy and Roswell know of the schedule change a week ahead of time. SO, guess what? I have my VCR set to record the shows at their NORMAL SCHEDULED TIME, but because of these FUCKING SPORTS, I miss both shows! Now Buffy will most likely be re-aired, so hopefully I will be able to see the wedding episode and this past ep. But as for ROSWELL? Hell fucking no! Instead I have a useless tape of a bunch of FUCKING JOCKS! GOD DAMN YOU WXSP! GOD DAMN YOU TO ALL UNHOLY HELL! I may be overreacting a little, but for CHRIST'S SAKE, can't the DAMN NETWORK have the courtesy to inform us? AND ALSO, CAN'T SPORTS BE SHOWN ON THE SPORTS CHANNELS? I MEAN, THAT IS WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE FOR!!!!! SHIT! Mark Visco

It's a long story, but due to my life circumstances I only saw the first few episodes of season1 and then the last 6-8 of season 3, and I was struck at how weak season 3 was. But the finale was pretty good: my only complaint is why did all the single chicks (Liz, Maria) get to accompany the aliens on their new travelling scooby life and the only actually married one (Jesse) get abandoned? Couldn't figure it out. Any clues?
