I love having only just found out about this one...actually salivating now. Im agreeing with you, danny ocean, if you want the test screening done properly, do it in Britain! btw to the fucking loser who says the pic looks fake...its production art, not a still from the movie! And anyway, maybe the real dragons were all on strike during shooting or something so they had to fall back on cgi so it looks fake. I'm sure you, on the other hand are so used to seeing the real thing that you can instantly tell a fake dragon when you see one. Moron

It will either be wonderfully cool or horribly cheesy depending on the decisions made by all involved. Since, like many, I just recently learned this flick existed (and since I would love to see a really good dragon movie) here's really hoping the former. Of course being a Disney picture - if the friggin' dragons starting a song..........

Good, bad, I'm the guy that kills the dragons - Groovy!, etc. Actually, 'too dark' might mean an excessively bloody and hard won victory. I don't want to watch an action movie for two hours then see the heroes lose. Its an action movie, not Shakespeare. But a bloody, grim, dangerous and violent battle followed by victory - I can dig that. Come get some!

It's okay to put the twin towers exploding on Newsweek but not have New York blowing up in a movie? A MOVIE!? It's not real! It's fantasy! And not every explosion in a large city has to be linked with 9/11. There's dragons flying around! How does that have anything to do with 9/11? Quite frankly, anyone who has angrily voiced that connection is an overly patriotic moron who speaks before he thinks. You don't wanna see New York on fire? Don't see the movie. For every film, there's a "right" ending waiting to be discovered, by grappling with the material or just serendipity. Sometimes it waits for the kid in the audience to grow up and film a remake, and get it right this time. That "right" ending is not always as dark as possible, although it sometimes is. The point is, a number of people watched the whole movie in a theater setting, and know a whole heck of a lot better than we do what sort of ending the movie needed, and they didn't feel it delivered. Don't start bitching until you've seen the finished product.

Hello everyone... Is this movie fantasy or scifi? Much as I love dragons, how could a handfull of these creatures manage to whup our collective human ass in the 21st century? The Swiss Army is well-equipped enough to take them out, without calling in the big boys. Caseless 10mm light-armour piercing rounds in a fully automated weapon accurate up to 3 kilometres, and that's only a footsoldier's rifle? To anyone who cares, I would suggest making a dragon that is crawling with retroviruses, something like a Super Ebolas. The mere presence of these critters in our ecosystem wipes most of us out, then the dragons take us on mano-e-monstero. Personally I like the idea of a dragon who is not only evil, but seriously unclean. Adds to the creep factor...
