He's directed or co-directed most of his goddamn films! And it looks like John Madden is directing another one of Ed Zwick's films. If you remember, Zwick was attatched to SHAKESPEAR IN LOVE for years, until Julia Roberts's ego nearly killed it. In flew John Madden and the rest is history. If LAST SAMURAI wins any oscars I imagine Zwick may end up taking his own life.

The San Fran Film Fest starts in a few weeks and there are several films from Asia on the schedule. Since it's impossible to see everything any recommendations would be helpful on the following films; Princess Blade, Pistol Opera, Happy Times, Asoka, All About Lily Chou-Chou, Dance of a Dream, Delbaran, One Take Only, One Fine Spring Day, Musa, July Rhapsody, I Love Beijing, and Somewhere on Earth.

andy lau looks so cute in those glasses =) anyone know why that film was delayed? avenging fist is all the tekken movie i need, who need jackie chan =) san fran film guy. Musa is so worth seeing, it's that zhang ziyi korean movie. its great. i haven't seen princess blade but the trailer looks neat and the fight choreography is by donnie yen. its getting a lot of buzz and princess blade 2 is already in the works.
