I wish this film would get a wider distribution, for a very selfish reason- I want to see it. I read and enjoyed the graphic novel, and I've been champing at the bit for this flick to visit my vicinity. Perhaps an award of this nature with boost its profile a bit. Oh wait... we wouldn't want to distract the kids from "Summer Catch."

Actually there's something about people that are younger than me and accomplishing so much more makes me just a wee bit jealous, but I'm so happy I could catch fire that she's getting some "official" recognition for her wonderful performance in Ghost World. [damn, what a run on] I think film awards are usually pointless, over-baked and masturbatory but still, in a perfect world, she'd be building a steel reinforced shelf to hold her awards. As far as that little bald gold man goes, how much do you want to bet the only nomination Ghost World gets will be best adapted screenplay?

Ghost World is great! Its the best thing Buscemi has ever done and Birch gets a great leading role. And don't forget Scarlett Johansen whou is HOT!!
