Hey folks, Harry here... ice pack on knife wounds in belly - very little pain, but boy coughing or peeing sure does require those ab muscles that were punctured to scream. I've decided it wasn't Cobra Kai that kicked me in the stomach - but that bitch from FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE... damn that shoe!

We've known for a while that Christian Bale is playing John Connor in McG's now-in-production TERMINATOR film. Early indications suggested Bale would appear throughout a proposed trilogy of films...although nothing seemed set in stone.
Now comes confirmation that Bale has formally signed on to play Connor in three TERMINATOR movies.

Dark Helmet sent this to us. Interesting that Stallone so pointedly references releasing a different iteration of his film when the theatrical version hits DVD & Blu-Ray...like...next Tuesday.

The HOBBIT part of this is more of a confirmation of what was already indicated/suspected than "news", but a piece in Variety offers a brief update on the status of matters del Toro.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. In the grand Hollywood tradition of casting a well known actor in a role that is out of their ethnicity, Jake Gyllenhaal has been cast as the PRINCE OF PERSIA for Disney's next attempt at making a Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. So has Gemma Arterton, who will be seen as a Bond Girl in QUANTUM OF SOLACE.

“Iron Man” screenwriters Art Marcum and Matt Holloway have been hired by Summit Entertainment to pen a “Highlander” remake, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
But who will play Duncan? Ramirez? The Kurgan?
There can be only one Hollywood Reporter story on the matter here.

Greetings! ScoreKeeper here with a multimedia follow-up to my article on the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA concert held last month at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. After the post went public I received a lot of email and questions in the talkback requesting video footage and expressed desires to have the concert released on DVD.
Ask and you shall receive.

Greetings! ScoreKeeper here making your day with a .44 caliber statement concerning the new CD release of the entire original score for SUDDEN IMPACT (1983) composed by the legendary Lalo Schifrin.
Released on Aleph Records, the album just hit the market last week and is currently available on CD and on iTunes (and at $7.99, it’s a bargain!).

Rupert Wainwright (THE FOG, STIGMATA) is set to direct WACO...from a script co-authored by James Hibberd.
"Waco" centers on the 1993 stand-off at Waco, Texas, when the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives attempted to arrest David Koresh, leader of the Branch Davidian cult. Four ATF agents, Koresh and 76 of his followers died.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. John Cusack wants to play in Roland Emmerich's big ol' exploding toybox. And he's not alone. It looks like Chiwetel Ejiofor is also in talks to join him in the end of the world flick 2012. A little more has leaked out about the flick, too, kind of confirming the Mayan calender aspect of it and that it opens with the world as we know it coming to an end. The flick follows the survivors.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I love Dario Argento and I'm forgiving his many misfires. Despite the crap, I want to see every new movie he does just based on my love of his best '70s and '80s work. GIALLO looks like the film of his that stands the best chance of returning him to his glory.
The good folks at ShockTillYouDrop.com nabbed the first couple of stills. Click on the one below for the all the stills and the higher res ones!

The following takes place between Midnight and 1 AM on the day of the California presidential primary ...
I am – Hercules!!

We’ve seen a lot of great “24” since 2001, but I don’t think the series ever topped its first 13 Naked Mandy-infused episodes. And unlike seasons two, three, four, five and six, the first season of “24” received only a bare-bones DVD release.

Asger Leth will direct OLYMPIA for Columbia, brought to us by 10,000 BC producer Mark Gordon.
Leth directed GHOSTS OF CITE SOLEIL, which is about the haunting of a visually obscure, generally overpriced, heavily merchandised French circus that...oh...it's about the last days of Jean-Bertrand Aristide's Hatian government.
