The Xena-Files'
Greetings, tube tuners! ROBOGEEK here with a quick newsflash for ya...
Variety reports this morning that XENA star Lucy Lawless has signed on to guest star in the first two episodes of Fox's THE X-FILES this season (which kicks off Nov. 4) - with "a chance" that she could appear in additional episodes ("though nothing's been decided").
"Details regarding the Lawless character are being kept under wraps," reads the oh-so-brief article, while executive producer Frank Spotnitz cryptically promises, "We think we've found an interesting and unexpected way to have her join the family."
Hmmm... Could she be playing Mulder and Scully's platonic love-child, all grown up and time traveling back from the future? Stranger things have happened...
